We're getting anxious to get out of town after Christmas and go somewhere warm. We're thinking about Vegas - Does anyone know about any parties or events that would be fun to attend any time between the 26th and New Years? We haven't decided for sure - Mexico is looking good too - just looking for ideas. What do you guys think???

If your wanting somewhere warm I wouldn't recommend vegas on new years 
We’ve done Vegas for the last couple years for New Year’s Eve. Definitely not warm but at least a little warmer than here.

Vegas is DEFINITELY not that warm around New Years. We used to go there for New Years a LOT and I think the warmest we ever hit was maybe 50 degrees during the heat of the day. Maybe we were just unlucky. Also, many hotels close their pools and even their hot tubs during the coldest winter months. If Mexico or some other place of a similar latitude is an option, and you want warmth, you really need to go there instead of Vegas. *shrug*
We are thinking about Vegas for new years, but always open to other alternatives.
