#1 most moderators are Deutsche bags on a power trip.
#2 kik jail is gay.
#3 you get guys that act like girls or part of a couple but cant send a live pic even after you send them several they keep asking for more. Or the famous "she's at work"

We are pretty new to this but wanting to make a great new friends. We are in the West Jordan area I would like to join your group if possible. Check it out our profile and messages if it's a possibility we are on Kik. And if anybody else knows of any groups please reach out or any other couples want to talk.
Most of the ones we've been in got too big. You couldn't even keep up with the conversation or I'd look at my phone and have 50 messages. Smaller groups would be nice, but I'm not aware of any.

In my experiences, 2 things:
Inactivity - Kik group’s literally just.....die. It’s the weirdest thing. They debilitate into “hi how was your day” “good, thanks, yours?” Nothing else type deals
High school-like clique behavior - they become a place or one or two people/couples come in and get all the attention, and everyone is chasing those specific people so everyone else just is a ghost in the middle of the chat.
All of them are quite big asking for pics,but no really content or willing to meet for a coffee or dinner. I will be delighted to be part of a small kik educated serious to meet kik group. Have a wonderful night

I find it funny/interesting that i stumbled across this particular topic as me and the Mr just had this conversation. We have experienced everything everyone here is talking about in the 2 large rooms we are in including the cliquishness, the same 2-3 couples dominating the conversation to the point that no one else talks because it's just blatantly ignored. So we were thinking why not start our own group. It would be small to begin with 12-14 couples and if interest grows then we could add more rooms. To start a few guidelines must be located in the SL valley (because gas is expensive and money is better spent on other things lol), must be a couple ( sorry singles just not interested at this time) and of course the golden rule be non judgemental. If you are interested or know of anyone who might be shoot us a message. Thanks 🐇🐇

That's okay we would still be okay with it if you are interested
So here is our $.02 . . . KIK is a great way to get to know people before an event. For example - we're in a KIK group for people who will be going to Desire resort at the same time as us. In that context, KIK works great . . . there is the anticipation that all will meet in real life and the more we know about each other . . . the better our experience will be when we get there. The same could be said if the event was a social etc. Having a KIK group of like-minded people has not worked in our experience. Humans tend to want the group to have a point . . . something you are building towards. There is simply no direction in a normal non-event centered KIK group, IOHO, so the groups fizzle and fade. Absent the very real anticipation that you will meet and have a shared experience . . . the platform just fails as badly as sending random emails. As to people dominating the conversation - that is also true in real life, so we shouldn't be surprised when it happens in KIK. Hope this helps. Our suggestion - if you plan to start a KIK group - start it in relation to an upcoming event and see how that goes. Then again . . . we are often wrong . . . but never unsure (lol).
