Look at the options chosen on the left side of this two part collage. When I choose the options for single women who are looking for single men, the majority of the results are women who do NOT want single men. (On the right is an example of one of the search results.)
Is this a long standing error in the code, or is it done purposefully to give single guys the illusion there are lots of women seeking single men here?

The searches are not great and I think are made to produce the most results. Our searches return many outdated and inactive profiles, hell it even returned a profile I had made 13yrs ago. We almost prefer to go off of forum posts because you know they are recent
Does it really matter if it's intentional or not? All businesses will do things to optimize profit and there is obviously great profit, and always has been, in marketing adult services to horny single guys. But if it's any consolation there are FAR more single women in the lifestyle (and here on this website) than there were even just a few short years ago.
Unfortunately for you, there are now also MANY more single males competing for the, by contrast, FAR fewer number of single females. Some theorize that it was Craigslist closing their "Personals" section that led to the massive influx of single men on the site.
And, of course, you're also competing with a fair amount of couples who are also mainly seeking single females instead of other couples or single males. It's very much, and always has been, a buyers market when it comes to the minority of people in the lifestyle who are looking mainly for single males. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I personally find that the search tool on the mobile site is completely useless. It doesn’t work at all. Try the search tool on the desktop site, the results are much more accurate if you use the advanced search options.
