Hello, we are new to this. We are active in our Ward have callings, Temple married etc. Very curious about the lifestyle and wondering if there are any other active LDS couples out there in the lifestyle?

Would love to hear from you
"AWKWARD"
Funny you should ask 😀! There are more than you think but have found more former LDS than active.
That's not at all an "awkward" question. Being new I remember worrying who I may run into, who may talk, etc. I have met many active LDS (and other denominations) couples in the lifestyle, but as Utahldscouple said, most here in Utah are former LDS. Ask up! Don't be deterred by those trying to make you feel "awkward".
Yup, there are. We know several. We were actually sort of semi-active back when we started (And of course lied thru our teeth during bishop interviews.LOL). And we've known at least half a dozen couples over the years who were outed (Usually by other swingers who for some reason decided they needed to confess or were pissed because someone stopped fucking them and decided to "name names".) and exed. :-(

This reminds us of one of our fav swinging stories. We knew a couple who LOVED to party. Almost every single Sunday, after having a LOT of sex Saturday night, they sent us a text to tell us they felt guilty and were quitting the lifestyle. And almost every single Wednesday or Thursday we'd get ANOTHER text asking us where the parties were for the coming weekend. LOL! Sadly, they're divorced now, but it was a running joke about them in the little swinging circle we were active with at the time.
I'm sure there are a lot that don't admit it.
There are a few. I met one of the seventies and his wife at a house party once.

No WAY! Are you serious?!!? Well, I guess once you've received the Second Anointing you can pretty much do whatever you want. Rumor has it that you could even commit murder without any religious repercussions and even still go to the Celestial Kingdom (Assuming you believe in that.). LOL

We think that is contrary to the post and makes those that are active still feel unwelcome. With that said, you don’t need legal assistance to quit something you attend voluntarily.
We have noticed that nearly all religions and many employers strongly discourage or look very negative about "adultery" or "fornication" that is considered a major part of lifestyles. We prefer to keep the personal lives of the friends and people we become involved with as private as we wish our own to be. We are oonsidered active in our religion and respectable in our professional occupations and social life. The friends we have acquired in lifestyles in many ways have been more sincere and fun to be with than most of the people we associate otherwise. We understand why many people have the feelings that have about lifestyles and the way they live. The realization of how we will most likely be judged and ostracized has led us to choose to live a dual life. It has its moments that can be frustrating and sometimes even causing us to be nervous, but we have no regrets. Its not recommended for everyone, but for those who know how to participate, it definitely has its advantages.
LDS swingers? ...isn’t that’s like an oxymormon lol 😂🤣😂

No more so than Catholic swingers, or Baptist swingers, or Jehovah's Witness swingers or Muslim swingers (I could go on.). All of which we've met over the years. You can certainly question how someone might rationalize fucking other people recreationally with belief in any given religion, most of which I'm certain wouldn't condone swinging. But it's not really all that different from how most people in the vanilla world view sexual fidelity even when religion isn't in play.
I'm surprised at how tame the responses to this post have been. Most of the time anything said about Mormons is derogatory and I've seen people made fun of. There was even a long thread called "non-mormon social group".

I'm glad you had the courage to ask the question and that for the most part you have been taken seriously and not ridiculed.
And bee tee dub. As FoMo's (former Mormons) we'd be happy to share with any active LDS swingers how Ms. Evil and I initially justified our double life as swingers, scripturally, if you haven't already figured it out. But you might have to show us your boobies first.

We have been asked the most ridiculous questions!
I can only imagine what questions people have asked.
Don’t shoot the messenger ...

Agreed ... just as the definition of HYPOCRITE as posted above is non-denominational.... just sayin
Well I guess Webster’s dictionary shut this thread down in a hurry 🤣
I was married in the temple, now divorced, but I think all of this is great to actually feel good and let others help you feel good. Doesn't have to be sex, friends are great too!
I went on a Mish.
