I think stag & vixen and hotwife are probably interchangeable, at least they are to me. Both just mean that it is a turn on for me to watch or hear about my wife having sex with other men. I think stag and vixen is often used to make it clear that humiliation of the man is not part of it, as sometimes that is assumed, as in cuckolding.
Hall pass could play a part in that aspect if it entails, for example, telling your partner all the details of what happened. To me a hall pass is more vague, just that one or both partners is free to do something with other people. In our case that does not always mean we report back to the other person the details.
