We are going to be in the Steamboat Springs area this weekend and have heard about the Strawberry Park Hot Springs and hear they are clothing optional after dark. Anyone familiar with them or have any info on the area?

About half will be nude/topless. Besides all of that it is a beautiful hot springs and well taken care of. Check out their website for hours and other info. You need to bring cash with you as they do not take credit cards. You will need foot cover, flashlight and towels. Other than that, you will meet some fun people. Oh btw the hot springs does not have any sulfur smell and is very clean. Have fun and we wish we could join you there.

We have been there many times and will also be there this weekend. Yes, clothing optional after dark. However, I have only seen one very old man naked...just sayn.

Can you car camp or do need to get a cabin
We have been the the Strawberry Hotsprings more times than can be counted. During the day it is a very family friendly place but after dark the rules start to change. Do not expect to find a lifestyle kind of event unless you have already made arrangements to meet others there. You will see couples having sex, but we have never seen it turn into a swinger party. Most people there will be clothed and just there for the relaxation.
No drugs or alcohol are allowed on premise, your bags will be checked and if you are found with them you will be escorted out.
Yes, there are some camping sites there to rent or you can stay in one of the cabins, but I would expect that availability is limited so make sure you call first.
