I have sat and read all of this and I truely can say it is sad when life has got so boring that media has to investagate something that is so enjoyable to so many. For goodness sacks what is next. The people we hang out with the foods we, how we pass gas, why cant people live the lives they enjoy.

As usual the "Ratings Sweep Week" For the Number One News In Utah. "KSL" Which is So proclaimed by them selves. Was just about as intelligent a depiction of what real life is, as when Orson Wells Read "The War Of The Worlds" on Radio in the 1930's. The outcome of that 'Truly Scared Some Folks"! But this crap was so much hype, with nothing more than a mass of "Jibber Jabber", that I had to Yawn in the middle just to keep my attention level up. Yes I would be very wary of contacts from people for the next little while, but hopefully then this "Bovine Scatology" will have run its course. Then "We The People" The Normal People, can resume our most enjoyable "Lives" The Tool Man

These people are kind, caring, successful people who I would love to have any of them as my neighbor. They have never tried to drag, lure, or trick, me. They have there rules of ethics, where no means no and they abide by it. At other parties I have attended I have had men keep hitting on me when I told them I was not interested, now to me that is wrong and disrespectful.
As a foot note; on a so called regular internet dating site I had over 120 men contact me and close to a half wanted a sexual relationship. So how is the 70 men a shocking figure? It pretty much what happens on the internet whether it is swingers or not. Its just on swinging sites they truthfully admit they are married instead of hiding it.

I honestly don't think there should be too much concern that anyone is going to start 'searching' the internet to find out if they know anyone on sites like these. They are already 'disgusted' as it is and i'm sure they won't chance having a site like this 'appear' on their computer. I honestly think they made their opinions and judgements briefly as they watch the segment last night but it wasn't something that was powerful enough to cause much of a stir. After checking my access logs for the site as well as my placement ads on the search engines designed just for the state of Utah when someone does a search on the keyword 'swingers,' there was not even a substantial jump in numbers. There was actually less people who searched for that keyword as well as 'utah swingers' than any normal monday night or tuesday morning.
I honestly believe most people have already forgotten about it. But for those of you who want to take that extra precaution, it's totally understandable. I just don't think it's that big of a deal to anyone like we thought and if it is, not enough to get them to start searching the internet for it.

I just have a few comments to make about last nights KSL broadcast:
Boring, (FOX 13 did a news blip on the invasion of Moles in Lehi that held our attention)
Poorly done, (did you notice the reporter had a hard time speaking and even stuttered?)
Mis-informed, (When did we need to start recruiting other members?)
Humorous, (this would really sell well to SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE as skit)
We could go on and on. Truth of the matter is that anyone tuning in to watch that broadcast was probably so bored after the first 30 seconds, they turned the channel to watch a commercial. The presentation was confusing and even poor at presenting what the main topic was really about. The only thing that we learned from it was that we need to have the reporter that created the ficticious profile teach us how to improve ours. (70 hits in one week? Thats pretty good). ROB, you must be providing one hell of service if you can go from 100 members to over 4000 alone in Utah, a state known to be ultra conservative.. (and that doesnt include the other 49 states plus world wide membership).
At this point, this story really flopped. Our worries are pretty much laid to rest and outside the membership of swingular... I think this story needs to be put 6 feet under as we go on with our very normal lives.

I unfortunately had to work last night and was not able to watch the broadcast. I have read about it on KSL's website and the comments that were posted. I intended on posting a reply also but stopped when I had to enter my email address, home address and phone number, etc. 
Oh well, at least we all know the truth of the matter. I'm sure the narrow minded fools on the comments board would have believed anything good we had to say about the lifestyle anyway. We'll just continue to enjoy the friendships we've made and the life we live in private.

Ok this is the Mrs. now - up until a post on KSL I didn't care to say anyting but someone's post pissed me off - they made it seem as if all the men were making the choice and us little women just went along with everything. As a woman participating in this lifestyle, I figured I would add my .02. I was the one who brought it up not him. We started talking about it and decided it was something we wanted to try, it was not a decision made over night - we talked about it for quite awhile. This is not something you hear about that often (depending on where you grow up. People keep quiet about it because of people like you, who sit here and have the nerve to condemn us for a choice we make as adults and as husband and wife. We are not hurting anyone, we don't involve our families or kids. We are not trying to recruit anyone into what we are doing, if someone joins because they know we do it it's their choice as ADULTS. Every person who sits here and says its "nasty", "perverted", or "that the people who do this are more apt to be predators" have no idea what you are talking about. How dare you condemn someone for a choice they make as ADULTS. Last time I checked we still lived in America not Iraq and had the freedom of choice. You people are just like all the other people in other centuries who condemn someone for something you don't understand. You go to a church who's founder was teaching plural marraiges at one point, look what happened to him, all because the rest of the world didn't believe or understand what he did. Get a life people, quit condemning people for something they have the right to choose to do.

then took a poll after ...and also asked a few of my friends outside the

All agreed it was lame and poorly produced on the part of KSL
