Not a bad club but very clicky. I have been a member for a long time and stopped going because I did not like the clicks
My wife and I had some really wonderful, memorable evenings there. I'd highly recommend that you try it - but kind of push yourself to be outgoing. If you wait for someone to approach you - they may be waiting for *you* to make the first move.
Since there's a party every week, it makes sense that some weeks will be better than others. Often with this kind of a group, much of what it "is" - is what YOU bring to it.
The facilities are good: separate areas for the pulsing music to dance to - and a separate area where you can play pool and *talk* to people. I don't know of anyplace better within an hour's drive - except perhaps private parties in homes - and you can't just walk into those any given Saturday night.

We rarely go alone, but we have gone with another couple and had a blast - our own click. It's a way to heating up the evening so the night will be sexually charged for all.
UsTwo: Good point! One doesn't have to hook up with strangers to have a great time at Tastebuds. The atmosphere is "consenting adults" so it is entirely allowed - and very hot - to slowly strip your own partner down - on the dance floor - and grind with them - while strangers watch (or not). You can sit at your table and explore your partners' body and get each other really hot. I once found a totally wonderful partner and she essentially stripped naked and let me eat her - and finger her - while people calmly walked by. We were in a very-high-traffic area so dozens of people calmly walked right past us while we played and explored - and while my wife and her husband did the same right next to us. In either case, the "public foreplay" can be worth the trip even if you don't directly interact with anybody else.
we are members and we go there often and we always have fun and have met alot of good people there. To us tastebuds is nowhere near clicky....Like i tell everyone you can't go by what you just hear. You have to go yourself and see how it is. And yes some Saturday's are better thah others cause they have a party every weekend. I cant see people judging if they dont go themselves check it out and if you see us say hello

mr tastebuds himself here LOLWe're members and went this past Saturday. We know a few people and usually have a good time. However, there seems to be more and more Saturdays that just are not too fun. The DJ last Saturday was more into "his own" thing. We complained to him because he'd only play like 60 seconds of a song we liked and then mix in another song that sucked. That happened time and time again and ruined it for us. Even though several couples agree with us that it sucked, his reply was "That's the way I like it". Well then - he's going to lose our business for the club.
Well we also love Tastebuds as most know. It is a great Club with alot to offer. One should always remember dont go to the club to find a party bring the party with you , and if you go looking for the party dont knock what others are doing.
Tastbuds is not a BYOB club well drinks $3.00 each top $6.00 each and a low cover always.
It is also directly located in a Hotel with room rates most nights for club members of $43.00 plus tax. No it is not a five star Hotel 1 to 10 it is a 7 some may score higher some lowere but the rooms are fair.

As for the DJ we like to add you cant put 200 swingers in the same club and have them all like the same music . For the record most of the time we wanna hear other stuff and also dont like everything to be mixed all the time but we have sat back a few times and wanted to complaine but the dance floor was packed was hard to get our point out when such a large number of guest were enjoying the tunes.
We think any club will have some clicks their are so manny diferant types of people in the life.We have tryed our best to be open and friendly even when others were not so nice back. Funny how some times several months later we eneded up friends with some of them but thats the lifestyle as we see it.
We do Love Tastebuds as we said Hayden Travel and the club it self are great. Their is no other Club like it in Central Florida.

we've been to Tastebuds a few times and always had a great time there. hell, all the swing clubs have their own cliques, we thought that for the most part everybody was pretty open and friendly. wish it was closer to us........
We have been a few times and had lots of fun. Have never met anyone at the club and "hooked" up but we are not from Orlando and stay in different hotels ( due to Clay's travel he gets lots of free rooms.)
We have had a blast though, great to dance, play and have fun with others who are open minded.....

I'm kind of biased because I am the webmaster of the Club Tastebuds web site (www.clubtastebuds.net) ...BUT we travel from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando every few weeks to attend. We always have a blast, Harvey and the rest of the staff are awesome, and we always mix and mingle with everybody. We don't find it the least bit "clique-ish"...but you HAVE to be assertive. If you sit back and wait to be approached, you'll be disappointed. Just walk up and introduce yourselves! If nothing else, you meet some good people. The Club is very low-key, zero pressure, and just an overall great place to have a good time. If we "hook up", fine. But if not, no biggie. We still have fun! Well worth our drive from South Florida! Just our 2-cents...
We've been going about once a month for a little over a year and have found that the atmosphere is different depending on the people who show up for the night. Sometimes it's slow and most people are just watching, then other times there's sex going on all around us and everyone's having a sexy great time! Either way, we always have fun because we get to meet new friends in the life who we can chat with and possibly hook up with. We've actually met quite a few new couples there over the last month or two. Harvey is always mingling and getting everyone involved and he makes sure everyone is having the kind of fun they want to have, whether it be just watching or actively participating. We are a full-fledged participating couple, so we sometimes lead other couples into having fun! Like several have said on here, don't just sit there wishing people would come up to you, get out there and mingle and meet people, you never know what might happen!
Wow - some folks are very defensive. We've been going to the club since it was in Kissimee. Obviously we keep coming back because we like it. We've met some great people there and have many fond memories. We love Harvey and the whole staff. However, it doesn't mean that there isn't room for improvement or at least some constructive critisizms.
So back to the music. Almost any dance floor will fill up as long as you have liquored up people wanting to have fun unless the music is just aweful . In fact, we'll dance to almost anything if it has a beat. It doesn't mean that we are thrilled with the music being played.
We like to go there, cut loose on the dance floor mingle with old friends and meet new ones. If we hook up with a couple - even better. We don't mind paying a higher cover charge than a typical club just for those reasons. So when we go in there, we are going to dance and try to have fun. But in all honesty, it really sucked this Saturday night when the DJ would start a song that we really liked and cut it off in 60 seconds and mix in a different song that we really didn't like. There were two other couples that said the exact same thing to us. It kind of ruined it for us. No biggie. Plenty of other people didn't care. We've just come to expect better.

We started the Clubtastebudsplayfulpartners group here on swingular and it has been very quiet the past few months. We are comming into summer and could potentialy have some fun parties.
We also do not go with expectations of hooking up. Think thats where most go wrong. Go to get out be free and let things just happen. We can only hope some more of the locals and the Club regulars will read this forum post and get involved as club Members. The summer pool party will be comming up soon. BBQ pool side and meeting each other as potential friends for this event is always cool. You do not have to have sex to become friends with others. We feel that most go looking for that sexual interlude we ask try to go for the fun and see if its a diferant place.

For us its allway been a fun and exciting place to go to, we have met some really nice people their but we don't connect with all of them . Hey its a great place but it is better if you know someone their or at least make arrangements to meet someone their . Take a chance go have some fun.:z
We've only had the pleasure of going on two occassions and a great time was had by all. The music has always been excellent and the pole dancing is a special treat for both of us. We highly recommend attending a second time if your first experience wasn't satisfying. I look forward to meeting all of you who have posted on the dance floor!
