This subject was discussed earlier this month as the topic "Primary Photos" in the Lifestyle Talk category. It is a subject we feel never can be discussed enough, however. Nothing worse than a dick pic when you open a profile. If that's the best shot they have, we don't need to see the rest. lol
We find it to be a turn off when the very first pic we see is someones nether regions....I mean if we get that far then we will see it soon enough why must ppl insist on making it there "HELLO" picture. Just our 2 cents
Primary photos. Have not found that discussion yet, but you are right it's a great topic even more so as more new people join the site. Sometimes I think they are just so excited about getting their 1st ad and pics up they forget about what they say about 1st impressions and a crotch pictures are not the way to start the introduction.

There is more for this to me than just the sexual aspects......friendship, shared moments outside the bedroom and semi-innocent fun are just as important to me. Seeing a close-up of an erect penis exclusively gives me the (possibly mistaken) impression that these other aspects are not in that person/couple's list of priorities.

Graphic first pics will usually keep us from looking at the rest of the profile...understanding these are sex sites, we still believe in a tastefull approach to meeting new people.

We agree that extreme close up crotch shots are not ideal we usually take a peek at the other pics to see if they have anymore better ones if not then we look on all together! if it is a full body nice pose we don't mind is the crotch is in there lol
We don't have our photo's posted yet, but we do however enjoy seeing others. As for the explicit only, no thanks. There is much more to a person than what's in their pants.

People who judge people soley on photos are missing out on alot of fun to us the pics are fun to look at but we don't judge a person tillwe meet face to face. Being a large guy in body I don't realy like having my picture taken, but for the swinger sites I try to keep an up todate picture of the wife & myself. I have to agree that just a genital shot for an opener is not very good. But I have also seen face shots that look like mug shots and sure are not much more interesting. Come on, this is a SWINGERS site!!! After all the object is to promote our involvement in this lifestyle. Our profile and pics are supposed to tell something about us. My wife likes to pose, and I enjoy taking her pictures. We try to use pics that show how we feel, or how we want to be precieved in the lifestyle. We get lots of feed back telling how they like her smile, or how we look like a fun couple. It makes us feel good that people enjoy what we have to share with them.

Just a couple of thoughts about explicit and nude first shots.... If it's a good looking lady one may be to distracted by her pulchritude to read the profile and thereby miss the instructions therein contained... On the other hand if the genital shot was of the male, there could be two reactions... Here we have no problem with a genital shot AS LONG as they have facial or g-rated full pics to back up what they show. We have g-rated that we are glad to send to others once we get to know them a bit and b/4 we would meet. We have seen on other sites, people using other peoples pictures and have seen some pictures that were removed from a certain site and openly posted on the internet. We are sure that most people do not want their pastor, mayor or next door neighbor to receive a picture of them shouting to the world that they are swingers!
