So, we love tattoos. This will be his second, and her first. We're looking for a good tattoo artist in the Salt Lake/Provo areas - can anyone recommend a local shop or artist?
We've heard good things about Quality Tattoo in Orem, and the artist there (belive his name is Jack). Is there another place that people go? We're willing to pay for good quality, and the work we want done is not typical tattoo flash - its gonna be nice, custom stuff.
Anyway, any recommendations on where we should go?

I like Sarah at Big Deluxe. (the one that's downtown.) I've had her, Sean at Happy Valley in PG (I do NOT recommend him unless you're single. He was nicer to me when I got tattooed without a bf around.) I've had some guys in Provo (Native Island?) tattoo me. They were nice, but not the most experienced. (Sarah at BD redid it for me...she is also the one that finished a tattoo I didn't want Sean to finish.) And I've had a guy at Quality in Orem do a tattoo. (Not Jack, there's a younger guy...think is name is Steven.) But my fave person has been Sarah.

Ok I will throw in my 2 cents. Several of my friends and I have been inked at big deluxe they are a really great shop I personally think there color is the best and brightest. I would have to say my my favorite artist is Reed he is at the shop next to port O call his work is amazing and he was a really cool guy to work with.

The best Ive seen is Lost Art in slc....there very good ...clean...they did both my wife's and mine. The guys name is Dean.....try there
i use Jake Miller at Lost Art in SLC. i got most of my ink from rich d. at the big deluxe when he was with a.s.i. tattoos but to hell with waiting 4-6 months to get what i want done! but if you can wait do it because he is the BEST.
I would go see Louise at Lost Art in Salt Lake City, he's great.
You know Lost Art dose the best work out of all them Ogend one to the Salt lake one they did my Hubby frist one and they drew it up there
Go see Doug at I Am My Own in Springville he just did a brilliant skull sleeve on me. I have 22 tats and have been all around Doug is one of the best I have ever been to...
Jack @ Quality Tattoo in Orem is the man to go see. he is very good friend of mine for many years and you wont get any better in this State!!!! He is reasonable....may be an ass at times if you go in with an attitude. but if u ask me...i dont give a shit about his attitude...just dont fuck up my inkl.....and no worries about that with Jack!!!
