Fix Friends online!
- Fix the site so it's mobile-responsive. Your current mobile app sucks ass. (Like.. a LOT of ass). We had a great one with SwingRing and you shut it down. (I even offered to give you the whole thing for free.. but you ignored a ton of emails to that end). All modern social communities are now mobile-first. This one is mobile-non-existent. I recognize this is a total front-end UI rewrite. I would propose that it's probably about time. I can introduce you to some people who are very good at this kind of work, if you need.
(And you'll have to forgive us if you make another promise that it's coming, and we don't believe you anymore).
- Get rid of the awful chat system and replace it with something a little more.. modern. You're just plugging in bad third-party products and you just cheapen the whole experience. CometChat really is bad, and the mobile app you white-labeled from them is absolutely TERRIBLE. You should get your money back on that whole venture. (123FlashChat is also TERRIBLE!!)
- Fix the "groups" feature here. You need a more social / facebook style wall where content that's relevant to us is pushed to our main Swingular page. If someone posts in a group I belong to, I should get notified of that and see it on my wall. If someone replies to a thread in the forums I'm participating in, I'd like to see that. Kasidie, Quiver, and other sites are figuring all of this out while this site still lives in the dark ages. As it stands, the social capabilities of this site aren't just bad -- they're embarrassing. No wonder so many people from this site are migrating to the (less than ideal) Facebook groups and Kik chat rooms.
- I want a damn text message or push notification when someone sends me a message. I want to be able to reply to the message they sent from my mobile device, without going through some cumbersome sign-in process. I want to be able to view their profile, their public photos, and their private photos without having to go through the captcha process. Put simply? I want interaction with other couples to be seamless. You really suck at this right now. (The SwingRing app had all this. You killed it in favor of something that looks like it was created by a junior-high kid).
- Better event management.. I built a REALLY nice event management system in the SwingRing app that's now dead.. but parties were better attended than ever before as a result of that system. Now we're back to the stone age. The whole point of this site is to help swingers meet other swingers. Don't lose site of that!
- All the bells and whistles that I get from other sites are missing. (List is too long to paste here, but I'd be happy to offer you consulting services on how to build engaging and interactive online communities).

My data shows swingers are moving elsewhere and your site is becoming less relevant. It's still the only real gathering place for swingers in Utah, but it won't be long before the mobile world decimates this cash-cow you've built. (I'm happy to share that usage data with you, if you're interested).

We completely agree about the mobile experience. Everything is mobile now. It would be nice if the groups on Swingular were more useful as it is a bit intimidating to try to replicate somewhere like FB. We would like to be able to message, view profiles, get notifications, etc. via a mobile app and not have to log in to the main swingular (not mobile page) to do much at all. Swingular is definitely the best gathering option for swingers in Utah, but I agree that the experience could drive users to other apps.

on main search along with male female or couple
And please let people see who viewed their profile... this makes it easier to get

Please add a 'bisexual' section .. a bisexual chat area
so we don't 'offend' those that aren't interested or are offended
there are lots of people who are afraid to show they are interested

This really could be a great site, especially for Utah Swingers. Utah is so unique compared to other states, especially when it comes to situations like swinging. There are not many sites that you can go to where Mormons (exmormons really) and non-mormons get each other. For those religion suppressed people to go to and talk with others that understand them and the culture they live in...but there does seem to be less traffic on this site even compared to a year ago.
Still "No Results" for Online Friends..... How hard can this be to fix, or does NO ONE care?
I just got this email...gives me hope. Anyone use 3nder? Seems like there are other platforms that are interested in using your subscription money in better ways. I mean, you've been celebrating your 10th anniversary as a site, for 5 years.

Plenty of members care, but those that sign the paychecks here do not. It does not bring in more money today, whereas updating a fraction of the primary photos could mean updated search results and lead to increased page views today, the one thing the owners TRULY care about. Plus it can't hurt to have all that info about your phone once you follow their suggestions, I'm sure. Useful information that can be harvested and sold many times over.
We couldn't agree with BMSHELL more. We thoroughly enjoyed the access that the swingring app gave us to this site. There were ways to stay updated, and see when we actually had messages. Being able to see who was attending events as we were on our way to events made it more exciting to get there. The app had everything you could ask for to keep you connected to this amazing community in Utah. Please let them help you, and make this the site that we are all hoping for. There is so much more potential for this site.

please add a bisexual area and bisexual search for those of us that are interested
Another vote for bringing back the SwingRing feature. That was a step in the right direction that was summarily killed off for god knows what reason. We have been on this site for a bit over a year, and when we first started, chat (when it worked) was busy a lot of the time, we got mail from people looking to interact, and it was a fun place to be. Fast forward to now. Chat is always empty, our friends list never has anyone thats online,(HINT, they are busy talking on KIK) and the only mail we usually get are from the admins telling us how great Swingular is going to be.... soon, really really soon we promise. We found KIK not long after we came on here, and Ive watched KIK grow into a great tool to meet people and organize get togethers while at the same time watching Swingular die a horrible slow death.
In all honesty, if we log on here once a week, its a miracle, however KIK is usually always running on our MOBILE devices. If we hadnt paid to be a lifetime member and went to the trouble of getting verified, we wouldnt bother even coming on here. I dont mean to sound like a KIK cheerleader, but honestly its everything this site isnt. Interaction with other couples is what we are looking for and Swingular is failing at offering the features and connectivity to support that. Mobile is the biggest bitch most have about this site. Come kicking and screaming into the early 2000s and quit making excuses why its so hard to make mobile connectivity happen. Take the site offline for a month if you have to, and give us back something thats usable. Quit nailing boards over the holes and telling us youve remodeled. Get help, pay for it, fix the mess or just give up all together. I would rather have nothing, than something thats cobbled together out of spare parts and works kinda sorta sometimes unless it rains or the sun is shining. This site is starting to give the representation of a old hotel that no one wants to spend a dollar to renovate, and is just hoping its patrons dont notice its dated, falling apart, and getting shittier by the month. Well we ARE noticing and just hope there isnt a nicer hotel that opens up across the street.
I remember getting some exciting emails from BMShell about SwingRing and its release. We used it, liked it, and was sad to see it killed. She seems to know what she was doing, so in my mind, you guys should be using her as a resource instead of ignoring what she accomplished. Swingular had its 10th anniversary about 5 years ago and that still hasnt even been updated for 5 years now? Is that code to old and tricky to figure out too?
Swingular does have a chance to be a fantastic service for all of us, but the length of time to navigate, the lack of activity, the constant bugs that plague it are enough to drive people away, and it shows that people ARE NOT on here as much as they used to be. Be less worried if I have updated my profile picture and more worried that soon there wont be anyone on here to see it.

There are a few ways, but unlike Swingular, most of the swinger chats on KIK almost exclusively exclude single guys from participating in the couples chat rooms. Most couples in the swing scene seem to appreciate this, so it continues.

They're already doing that. In fact, having to make changes to the basic site so it clicks with the mobile beta is what's causing a lot of the problems. Just one of those things ytou run into when sdidng somehting like developing a mobile app that's tied in many ways to the originl non-mobile app. I sdo wish, htough, that the site's navigating speed would come back.
And what was Swingring? We've been here a bit over 2 years, and it seems I missed even seeing that.

SwingRing was a n app made by BMSHELL that utilized parts of the Swingular site and more easily facilitated couples contacting each other, knowing what was going on, even had a Facebook like front discussion page. But when Swingular made it's biggest changes a few months back their content was no longer available to the SwingRing app so it disappeared (best I can tell), only to be replaced w/ a crap chat app our membership pennies were probably wasted on but belongs to Swingular.
SwingRing didn't put money directly in Swingular's pocket, only helped their members and so it had to be done away with.
for mobile, i'm really liking FEELD, was called 3nder, but got sued by Tinder, because it's basically LS Tinder. It would be nice if more locals were on it.
