We do this all the time, actually. We rarely send friend requests but get them from others fairly often. The reason we immediately unfriend some of them is that we discover that they have no face pics. Our locked pics ALL show our faces and we don't really think it's fair for some people to hide who they are when ours would be on full view to them. Our profile spells this out so if they don't have face pics and friend request us anyway it's on them for not doing their due diligence.
We also have a blurb in our profile that says we'll likely unfriend you if we don't get a follow-up email or whatever within a few days. That should give the tire kickers plenty of time to perv our pics. We don't see much point in having a whole lot of "friends" we've never met and likely never will.

Also if the profile seems fake but I'm sure I'll accept and look at the private pics, if the private pics don't change my mind about the profile being fake I'll unfriend. Mostly happens when single females send the request, those are the one I get suspicious about.

We don't go to anything even resembling a sacrament meeting. We are one of those socially active liberal families, well established in their liberalism, that is pretty much suspected of illicit debauchery anyway. We sometimes buy beer at Smiths. We have kids with long hair with degrees in science. Put up a "Weinholtz for Governor" sign in your yard and they think it's code for "here's the orgy". We like the ones who hold their pics for ransom. Had one couple a few years ago who sent us a friend request. We politely declined and even wrote them an polite email telling them why we didn't approve their friend request (they had zero public pics and one fully clothed pic of both of them in their private pics with their heads cropped off). They wrote back and told us they never show anyone a photo of their face unless everyone agrees that they're going to meet. They said they're in the witness proctection program and were runners up on Dancing With The Stars a few years back. Okay, that was a lie, They didn't say that. But they totally refused to send any pics unless we agreed to meet. We laughed and sent them a "Thanks, but no thanks." email. They wrote us back and told us that we had NO IDEA what we were missing and that they were spectacular individuals, that he had a 12 inch dick and that she could suck the chrome off of a bumper (back when bumpers had chrome I guess).
