Well, I guess if we have political candidates using bastardized faux-Mexican cuisine to simultaneously advertise a small restaurant they own as well as prove their love and admiration of Hispanics then I shouldn't worry about two dissimilar languages being misused, eh? Besides, all those license plate holders declaring that the driver is an "alumni" of some college or university can't be wrong just because they mistake singular and plural nouns (and gender, if you really want to get specific).
