Given that hot tubs are a required accessory of the lifestyle and so many people here have them, we are looking for feedback on what brand you all would get if you had to do it over again. Our old place had a Bullfrog but since they did not stand by their warranty they are not on our current shopping list when it comes to properly outfitting the new house. Feedback on what not to buy is also appreciated.
Never have had a problem with Bullfrog and I wouldn't buy anything else. We have sat in many brands and none compare.
Agreed Love our Bullfrog...
We actually have a really high-end Caldera I'd sell you that's currently sitting at our old house in Herriman (I'm sure a few people here can vouch for how.. er... nice.. it is).

It's full right now so you could test it out... It would need to be moved... (There are companies who specialize in moving them, and I'd give you a heck of a good deal to off-set the moving cost.)

Only reason we didn't take it with us is our new house came with a Bullfrog.... however, comparing the two side-by-side.. the Caldera is MUCH nicer. I just don't feel like playing musical hot-tubs to swap them around.
Not currently looking for a hot tub...but we're always looking for an invite. :)
We have an Arctic, it has some nice features, we really love the salt system, easy to take care of and don't smell like chlorine. Always up for naked hot tub....lol
Arctic Spa is nice. Love the salt water.
Bullfrog and if you go to the factory in bluffdale sometimes they have scratch and dent which most of the time you can't find unless they show you and you get money off. We have a bullfrog and it has been awesome and the customer service is awesome since they are built in UT.

The most important feature we would be looking for is one with simple rather bench like seating all around with minimal individualized bucket seat configurations, for better ease and intimate access ability in life style activities. (Those with exaggerated contours look cool but are not convenient at all.)
Next buy from a reputable brand that is near you and carries a guarantee so if there is ever a problem, service is not far away.
Finally get one that is only about 7 to 8 feet square for ease of maintenance and quick prepping prior to a planned evening use.

We are on hot tub number three. First one a Cal Spa was great, easy to use and had the seating as mentioned above. Perfect for playing. Second was Catalina, had all the fancy seats which make it the most uncomfortable to use if more than 4 people in it at once also it was total garbage. Number three is a Sundance, easy to use and maintain, went with a simple seat configuration so great when guests join in.
Bullfrog we've had one issue with a speaker they came out within 24 hours and fixed it at no cost it is currently only two years old works flawlessly
Bull Frog by far, and they are made here in Utah.
Bullfrog for us. The ability to change out jet packs is a nice feature to have. Not sure you can go wrong with any tub though as we have never been in one we did not enjoy...

I have been in the pool and spa industry for 25 years. Pretty much all spas have their individual problems. From and industry stand point I will give you a list for spa makes in order of reliability.

1 Hot Springs
2 Caldera
3 Marque
4 Tiger River
5 Sundance
6 Artic
7 Cal Spa
8 Bullfrog

Stay far away from anything sold at Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, Sams...ect
And do not buy a used hot tub off of Ksl from a man named Devo.

jacuzzi. the original hot tub
We've got a Jacuzzi...had it for a number of years. Doesn't have all the real nice fancy extras, but we've never had a bit of problem with it, other than trying to get more than 8 sexy folks in it! LOL
Sundance.........fewest service calls in the business. We had one problem three years after the service warranty expired they came out and fixed it for free anyhow.

If you really want to know who makes the best as far as dependability and service....call a service company that repairs them. Sundance will come up time and time again.
Hotsprings is amazing. There are no bypass filters at all on any pump for my hotsprings. Worth every penny. But right or buy twice..

We've had tw bullfrogs and upkeep is minimal. Also we never noticed an increase in power bill. Contact us and we can give you spa reps name and you can get steep discount on them.
