Swingers Forum - We Need An Esthetician!!!!

line
Previous Post Next Post
For a while last year, an esthetician who was also here on Swingular came up to Ogden from Lehi about once every 6 weeks and did waxing at our house. We had a group of about 16 or so people, and there were always quite a few to be done each time. She charged less than the salons around here do, but made good money because we'd set up a schedule, she'd come, and be able to do one person after trhe other, for a decent amount of money for the trip and the time spent. The savings attracted the clients, and the ability to make a chunk of money in a short time benefitted the esthetician.
Unfortunately, after about 5 or 6 months, her husband finished his residency at the UofU hospital, got hired at a hospital in Denver, and they had to move. There's no central directory of estheticians with portable equipment who can was both sexes, and the salons sure won't let anyone ask their estheticians if anyone is interested in making some extra money, and we were unable to find anyone to replace her.

We'd like to recreate the "waxing group", which saved everyone some money and was pretty convenient for everyone involved, including the esthetician. So we're trying once again to find an esthetician. If we find one, we'll get the group recreated. We need a certified esthetician who can wax both men and women, has a portable table and stuff, could come to Ogden about once every 6 weeks, and could wax individual people for less than the salons charge. If anyone qualifies and is interested, or knows of such a person, please let us know.
Do I need to be licensed :)
Depending on the amount of people and the price I would be happy to help you guys, I do not do waxing but the process I use is close to it just a bit nicer to your skin. I have been doing this process for over 15 years and all of my clients that I waxed have liked this better. I am a certified Master esthetician and have been doing both men and women for 20 years. I have just stopped doing the wax. Found something I like better for the hair removal.
If you would like more info or want to talk about your plans let me know if I can help.

Thanks Teri
Coming from the Dom/sub lifestyle, the topic of waxing is near and dear. Doms with subs (or Masters with slaves) take personal responsibility for their charges' health and welfare from making sure they eat right, exercise and receive body pampering. To that end, we often personally wax our cherished other half.

Here is a whimsical "tongue-in-cheek" article I posted in a Dom/sub forum I moderate:

A Dom’s Guide to the Care and Maintenance of His Pussy.

A lot of Doms live with the misconception that his sub or baby girl has a pussy. There is nothing further from the truth. If he has truly earned her total submission, when asked, “Who’s pussy is this?”, she will answer without hesitation, “It’s your pussy, Daddy!” With the gift of "ownership" comes great responsibility.

CARE:
It is always important to remember that pussies have limitations. Playing too rough can result in permanent damage and result in a voided warranty. You must learn to test the limits of performance and durability by breaking your pussy in accordingly. Granted you should always seek to achieve peak performance by pushing the boundaries, but a broken pussy results in down-time and unless you have a spare, you end up with a lack of serviceable utility.

Get to know the operating system and not just the hardware. In the case of poor performance, trouble shoot with an eye on the cause rather than just addressing the symptoms.

MAINTENANCE:
A good pussy is a useful pussy. It should be used and used often to prevent atrophy. Use it or lose it!
Fuck it daily if possible even if you are not in the mood.

It is your responsibility to train it to respond to your voice, your touch and even to your thoughts and expression. If your pussy is left alone and subjected to neglect it might freeze up or wander off. You may even find it necessary to enlist the aid of a substitute mechanic. This is often necessary if you travel a lot or your pussy is in a long-distance, low service situation. Choose wisely, though. A substitute service technician must perform to strict specifications under your directions.

If in doubt, consider an automated system. In doing so, remember that mechanical devices lack the sensitivity to guard against neural damage. Mechanical should NEVER be used as a convenient substitute for real maintenance or permanent damage and lack of performance will occur.

A well-lubricated pussy is a healthy pussy, so unless she is deaf, practice voice control at all times. This is good for the Dom’s self interests not only with his sub, but in his business and social life. If you can excite get her lubricated from a distance by phone, you are providing a valuable service that will pay dividends in the long haul. Better still is the pussy that is highly responsive and will cum on command. Remember, it is your responsibility to train your pussy to be responsive.

A healthy pussy will give good service for years as needed. Make sure you get regularly scheduled medical exams. Clean your pussy after every use to prevent un-welcomed incursions. Waxing will give your pussy a smooth glow that you will find inviting for years to cum.
Hey, if there is a good licienced person out there in the Ogden area that does laser hair removal I would love to hear from you. Waxing is a waist of money if you can just pay to get it removed permenantly! I'm sick of shaving every day. Chewwbacka! Lol. Amy. Ya that's right, my body hair grows as fast as I breath.

Unfortunately, yes. I know there are people who can do it who aren't, but since there are other people involved, some wouldn't want to do it if the esthetician weren't licensed, and if anything ever happened, since I'd be the "organizer", I might even gety in some kind of lefal trouble.

Laser is probably the best method if someone is certain they'll never want the hair back. The only drawback I can think of is that it takes numerous treatments and they're darned expensive. But once finished, it almost always IS finished, permanently.

Waxing is kind of the alternative to laser for folks who don't have the disposable income for laser. For most people, a waxing is good for 5 to 6 weeks. Only about a third of the hairs will even startr back in before you go for anoither waxing. Those that do start back in, unlike with shaving, will not be stiff or scratchy or anyhting. When you shave, you cut the hair off at its thickest point, and that'w what will be the tip as it grows back in. And having been shaved, they all grow back in at the same time. Waxing removes the entore hair including the root, so you only get about a third coming back in at the beginning, and they're brand new hairs, so they're fine and soft. And there's never any razor burn, bumps, ingrown hairs, or cuts.

Finding laser hair removal should be easy. Just Google "Laser Hair Removal Ogden, Utah". You'll get places from a bit north of here down to south of SLC. Unfortunately, you might not find an individual person. The equipment is kind of expensive, so mostly only salons have it. We have gotten one response for a possible replacement for our previous esthetician. If you're interested in trying waxing, keep an eye out here, if things work out I'll be reassembling what was called the "waxing group", and will post a discussion here.
I'm a little leary of a discount waxing done in the back room of some dude's house. Seems like some bizarre shit to me, too many things could go awry. I'd rather pay the extra $10 and go somewhere legit. But that's just me, to each their own.

Thing is, it seems like you're making a whole lot of assumptions and I'd probably agree if they were all right, but none of them are. I suspect you think it's some crazy idea some guy had, done in "a back room in his house", and maybe even done, I'd guess, by someone he just picked off the street or some strange place. First, it isn't some dude's back room. It's me and my wife's home's office, the only room with enough open space for the esthetician's table and stuff except the kitchen. Second, besides us, not just me,there are other people there. Even though we always coordinated a schedule with the esthetist beforehand, there always ended up being overlaps, people coming by early, some people hanging around in the living room, and like that. And probably more to the point, this isn't anything new. We just had to end it in April last year when the esthitician had to move to Denver. In fact, she's still on Swingular, just with a different location. So if anyone thought they might want to join (IF we find a new esthetician, not much point recreating the group if we can't) they could check with people on here who had been there. Or even the esthetician. And there wasn't a damned thing about it that wasn't "legit". She was trained, licensed by the state, and did it as a small business, but gave people from Swingular a discount from what she charged others. Which was STILL cheaper than a salon, just by not as much. That's why it stopped and didn't start again. First, we weren't going to use just anyone, and oouldn't find a replacement. There were two people who would do it, one of which I knew actually could because she used to, in a salon. But they weren't "legit". One had never been licensed, the other stopped working when she had an arm problem, and then after got a different job. Either her license expired, or she didn't have insurance, or something, I forget. Not in our home, where we could be liable on the odd chance that anything happened, especially if the waxing wasn't all "legit" as far as the state of Utah was concerned. There was another who was "legit" but who wanted the same amounts as salons, more in some cases, which would have defeated the whole purpose, saving money. About 4 months after we had to stop, Dana got sick, had a couple surgeries, and we just let it go until after she was OK and we were sure she'd stay OK. Which is why we're finallly trying to start it again, and looking for an esthetician.

Finally, $10? A year ago it was more than that. She charged females $35 to $55 for a brazillian, the cheapest salon on the Wasatch Front charged $55 to $65. And for men, salons really charge. Both the salon prices and the difference between them and her were even bigger.

I'll admit in a heartbeat the thing was originally my idea. I'd been paying $70, having to drive to SLC, and often couldn't get an appointment when I needed one. They were then the least expensive salon, and maybe the biggest around here, but their Layton place only had one person who did males and only on one day, and she was incredibly hard to get an aoppointmenr with when you needed one, and although the SLC place had more than one and was easier to get an appointment from, still it wasn't always when I needed. And just when we started doing the group thing, they went up to $80. After getting the group going, it cost me $30 less and I didn't have to even drive anywhere. But just because it was some guy's idea doesn't make it a bad one. If it were, it wouldn't have worked out until the esthetician had to move, like it did.

Food for thought Terry laser is not a fix all for everyone. I have had laser and still have hair, I also know many that are in the same deal. It remove all of it for quite some time for all people but some will grow back with time and those with a whole lot seems to have this problem a bit more. Continued treatment even for laser can be normal. It is more permanent then waxing for sure, but not always. Your money and you need to do the research and ask the hard questions, a good place will guide you and be honest about it.
