Swingers Forum - Fake profiles?

Previous Post Next Post
So any advice on how to spot or recognize fake profiles and those looking to use this site for other purposes outside the lifestyle? Any experience with this? Obviously safety, discretion and confidentiality are important to most of us on here. We also don't want to waste our time trying to meet people who don't really exist or who want to cause us some sort of harm, whether it be financial, emotional or physical.

Any advice on how to spot a fake profile or ways to be more efficient trying to meet people?
We have resorted to limiting our interactions with people whose accounts have the "Real" or "VIP" badges. Not everyone with such badges are legit but at least we know someone in the community has met them. Ultimately we have the most luck with meeting people by attending events, going to house parties, and going to known swinger hangouts like Club Habits. None of this precludes meeting people with malicious intent of course. To avoid that type of thing we just try to get to know our potential playmates via dinner, drinks, dancing, and the like. With that said, we have never had a problem with people trying to harm us. Perhaps that will change now that I have said it. ;P

Yup, we bought ours from the same guy who sold me my doctorate in Rocket Science from Nasa University. He also hooked us up with a sweet timeshare on the east shore of the Sea of Tranquility.
I once weeded out a single guy posing as a couple by his language. He keep saying "I" and "me". Couples say things like "us" and "we"

I know, huh? We once were contacted by someone who couldn't keep "there", "their" and "they're" straight so it was probably someone pretending to be someone they're not...or a pirate. Pirates always have trouble with homophones too. And no, that's not an anti-gay slur.

I like them.. just wish I knew them personally!!!
We seem to constantly get hit up by profiles that seem to be a couple then after they get our number they just want to ask for photos...but yet when we ask for photos in return all we get are the same photos from the website.....and when we specifically ask for a photo outside of what's on the website, they quit responding...(I assume it's because they are a dude...)

Then on a couple occasions we have had correspondents with single female profiles only to find out (after we have given our number out)..that it is not a single female..but a couple...and nothing is mentioned about that in the profile...people need do be more honest)

Always plan your M&G for something you can do alone so its not wasting your time.
If you care if single's are married or not than it may be longer in hooking up with a single.
For couple always plan for at least 3 miss connections due to kids, periods, and life.
Plan your M&G's as non obligation, better turn out we have found. For fake profiles haven't found any since there normally connected to a couple, female,or male.
I like my new Job don't post my photo anymore.
How do you do a "reverse search" on a photo?

Right click on a photo...in the drop down menu one of the options will say "Search Google for image". Left click on that option.
And we thank you....now....how do I do it from my IPhone?

And how do I get the 12:00 to stop blinking on my microwave?...:-)
Voice verification can help as well. We will be implementing a feature that will allow you to give out an anonymous phone number to the person you want to voice verify with and when they call this number, their number too will remain anonymous. We are still working out the details on how this would work but we already have the ability to do this.

If the other party refuses to voice verify, they are most likely fake.

To collect pictures, spy on someone, pretend they're a couple when they're really not. Take your pick. With me, someone pretended they were the wife of a couple and wanted to surprise her husband with a special present of me for his birthday. Obviously, that didn't work out so well. Even being a Newbie, I didn't fall for it. His feelings were hurt that I was "Mean" back to him for his stupidity.
Seconded the picture collectors, guys who get a thrill from tricking pictures out of someone, especially pictures most others don't have access to; makes the sickos feel special. That's where they show me who they are by requesting to be my Friend expecting access to the special pictures in a Private Album I don't even have. The time I've wasted is balanced out by the new synapses I build conjuring up creatively awful things to write back to them.
I'd say the majority of the fakes I have run into are more so married guys creating a virtual affair in their pea-brained minds to forget for a moment the life they find themselves trapped in. They're playing a video game and I'm the entertainment, they hope.
<----100% fake.....

CSI cyber tv already showed a episode that these voices can be faked, what would the work around for that be?
I was wondering about fake profiles. But in my case its because nobody reads the email I send out. Maybe 1 in 10 will ever even get read.
