One of our planned new features is Linked Accounts. Basically, couples will be able to link an additional account to their main account that will allow each of them to log in and use the service separately yet maintain a single profile.
We could implement this one of two ways:
1. Users would be able to create unique usernames that would identify who is using the site. These usernames would show up in forums, messenger, chat and anywhere that user interacts. The profile will show the username of the original user. Users would log in with their respective usernames. Unique email addresses would be required as well.
2. Users would create linked accounts based on unique email addresses and share the username that was originally created. They would assign a gender (m or f) to each account. When interacting on the site such as in chat, the username will show a gender identifier next to the username, for example: administrator (f). Users would log in using their registered email address.
Each of these options has its own pros and cons but they could be different for everyone. We wanted to get your feedback on which option you like best and/or if you have any additional ideas, comments or suggestions.

They both sound great but the key is getting the support of your users who have had issue with others in the past. Would this new option be able to keep the ignore member and or block in place or would it open up a new door for the troubled user to get new access to make up for his/her stupid mistakes?
