Yes you can still enjoy Deadpool without having any comic book backstory...although you might miss a few of the references but it stands on it's own...assuming you enjoy that kind of humor (the trailers will give you a good insight and if you find them funny you will like the movie). I canNOT believe you missed Stan Lee's cameo, ILLUS!

Oh I can't WAIT for it to come out digitally! I'm sure I missed more than a few Easter Eggs and references. Totally didn't quite get that part with the little cartoon characters dancing around Morena Baccarin's head near the end until I got home and Googled it. Speaking of which, SHE'S FUGGIN' HOT! I thought she was a babe in Serenity but she took it up a few hundred notches in Deadpool! Hubba hubba!

Yeah JC has some nice eyes. 
Another huge fan of Deadpool and Morena Baccarin is super hot. I first saw her on the Firefly/Serenity series. Been a fan ever since. I laughed all the way through the movie, and the part where the guy splats on the billboard, OMG, crazy stuff. If you don't like this movie, I doubt we can be friends.

LOL Glad you liked it. I started a similar poll on another site and several people apparently didn't like the movie. One person (on a swing site mind you) seemed to think the sex and sexual innuendo was maybe overdone and they could have easily made it PG13 and made more bank. So glad they didn't do the usual Hollywood cash grab and instead tried to stay true to the character.
