My wife and I were looking for a married couples dating app and didn't find any that were appealing. Now that Swingular is going mobile, that wont be a problem any more, however with sites like Ashley Madison being hacked we though it would be fun to look for a dating site for singles that are married. We are not saying we would approve of cheating, but we think there could be a TON of money in a discreet app to compete with AM. We have developed the framework for it and are now looking for programmers and designers that are willing to sign on as a partner and share in the profits after the project goes live. If you are interested, let us know and we can send over a non-disclosure agreement so we can openly discuss it.
I'm not sure the business model to compete with AM is legit... The data coming from the AM hack is showing that roughly 99.4% of their female profiles were fake..... indicating there's basically no market for a legitimate site in that genre... and that the entire business model for AM was based on a scam.
If you're building a business model around competing with them -- you may want to do some serious market research that has real-world data before you write big checks.
Just my two cents. (And yes, I am a mobile-app developer).
