I want to temporarily close my account. I have a lifelong membership. Is there a way to temporarily suspend service? When I looked under help and account closing, it suggests there is a way to do it, but when I follow the instructions, it appears that I would have to permanently delete my account, which I don't want to do. Help!
Why not simply delete your pictures and all info from your account? I did that for many years.
Agree... remove all your photos... edit your profile to indicate you are no longer active and might return. Change your email address to something strange. Walk away knowing the account is effectively closed.

Well actually an admin, had sent an email within 15 mins.
click on help, go to FAQ's click on close account and it tells you what to do for a temporary close account option. hope this helps
