My wife and I finally have our black rings to wear on our right hands. Wondering how many others out there have them and how many have you seen?
We have them, we do wear them and have seen them a little bit here and there, but no one will approach regardless, that's just our two cents

I got mine (him) but most times forget to wear it. But, we got it at the Octoberfest at Snowbird, $5, and they will engrave it for free.
We both have black rings and have worn them in public and to places like Habits, etc.. And we've done this off and on for well over 10 years (when we first became aware of what seems to be more or less a swinging urban legend). To date we have NEVER been approached by another couple and asked if we were swingers or anything close to it. Maybe we're just fugly and nobody wants to fuck us but the whole black ring thing is a big FAIL IMHO. Even if it ever did catch on it probably wouldn't take more than a few days to a few weeks for it to get out on social media, etc., and everyone would be looking for swingers with black rings in public (not unlike times we've gone to takeovers and had to wear wrist bands and it quickly got out to hotel staff, other guests, etc. that people wearing wrist bands were there for a swinger event). Most people (not all) involved in swinging really don't want their vanilla friends, family or coworkers...or even strangers to know they're swingers. Most vanillas pretty much classify swingers as worse people than Ashley Madison cheaters and used car salesmen. Much easier in our opinion to "meet" people at dedicated meet and greets or parties or here and other places online than to hope for serendipitous encounters out in public.
Before I knew what it stood for I bought a black ring for my husbands wedding ring. Maybe I should have him wear it on his right hand when we go out and see what type of response we get.
We have them and wear them!!have not noticed others or been approached by anybody yet either!
We have black rings. Made out of hematite. Have not seen any on others yet. I'm sure it will catch on more.
I have mine. I've had it awhile now, wear it always. I don't know if anybody has seen it. I haven't seen others with one.
Explain the black ring thing further. My personal situation is I am not a swinger, I am not part of a couple, I just happened to get involved with a swinger couple and my guy gave me a profile on here. So I don't count as a swinger, I'm just a single girl who likes dick very very much. And people involved with swingers are a good source for easy NSA dick. But I have no problem wearing a piece of jewelry that might let other people see that I have a wild side. As it seems, no one notices, but if more people try? Like seriously if there is a special ring or other piece of jewelry that announces to the world I am a slut and proud of it, count me in.
You should try wearing an anklet (ankle bracelet). Works just like a black ring (at least according to an almost identical thread over on another swing site we're on). Oh, and carry a pineapple and/or one of those plastic pink flamingos that go in your yard. All of these are supposedly sure fire ways to spot other swingers.
Anklet meaning
I'mma start one where you have to carry around an opened box of Cocoa Pebbles, with a naked Barbie doll upside down inside of it while whistling the opening aria from Rigoletto.

where do you get them ??
We just recently bought ours. He has been wearing his, and we are still waiting for hers to arrive. We bought ours on Amazon. We have seen lots of places to get them. There was a guy that was engraving them at the SL County fair last weekend as well.
When we are out and about we are starting to look more for them, so if we see them we will at least come say hi!

Awhile back, I went shopping for a Black Ring that I would like. Came across this ring at a local store. I wear it everyday.

The linked chain in the center is a separate ring, so it spins freely.

A black ring worn on the middle finger of their right hand is a common symbol of the asexual community. The material and exact design of the ring are not important as long as it is primarily black. The black ring is often associated with people who identify as swingers. However parts of the swinger community have taken care to inform people to not wear the black ring on the right hand, middle finger out of respect of the Asexual community. Plain black rings also coincide with the symbol ? which symbolized asexuality and genderless. This symbol is also often written in black, simple because it's a common ink color.
Your right middle means "currently single", the right ring means "currently taken" and since the left ring means "taken/married" in a permanent sense, then the next logical conclusion would be that left middle means "permanently single".
Now if you want to be really confuesd try and find a definition for Asexual LOL

We're old school. We just wear a scarlet 'A' on our clothing instead of a black ring.

I saw a couple at scorez in Lehi and introduced myself. They seemed excited I knew.
I want to get a really nice one that I can wear daily, honestly most people wont know what the heck it means but its fun.

What the hell, did you go to school in 1692?!
The classics NEVER go out of style.
We have worn ours at a few LS related functions. We haven't been approached nor have we noticed others rings or approached them. Thinkin we just get caught up in the moments of excitement ~
Well, I have one, but you guys already know that. You goin' to MILF & Coookies tomorrow night? Personally, I'm hopin' there's some cake too, besides the cookies, since today's my B Day. ~ Terry

Just google "buy black rings." Lots of places online. At least one sells engraved ones for something like $16 if I'm remembering right; I'd have to boot up the other laptop to find their name, I fear, and since I've been up since noon Wednesday, I'm finally goin' to bed in a minute. ~ Terry

Maybe everyone could start using red rings? The Scarlet Ring sounds cool, maybe someone'd make a movie. ~ Terry

I vote for the movie, when do we start.

We've had multiple occasions where people in the wild have introduced themselves to us as a result of the rings. Mostly when we were traveling (outside of Utah). It's really not a big thing in Utah, yet... but outside of the state it's catching on relatively quickly.

... Also worth noting... it's mostly catching on among the younger, "under 50s" crowd. The old-timers seem content to poo-poo any idea, concept, or trend that doesn't fit their definition of 'swinging'. (Including at least one person on here who spends, literally, every waking minute of his day trolling the forums making negative / sarcastic comments to anyone and everyone).
If you don't like the trend, don't do it... but there's no reason to pretend it's not real.
ALSO... Black Ring Society is going to be changing its name to SwingRing (mobile app name is changing as well... I'll start a separate thread on that). We think it's a more inclusive, shorter, and less confusing name..
Black is SO last year. We traded in our black rings for gold ones cuz that's the way we roll. First class all the way. Winners, not losers. We like people who don't get captured...er, anyway, look for us out and about wearing our CLASSY gold swinger rings.

Maybe its an age thing? We Older Folks are just not that easily swayed by all these Newfangled Options for Swinging. We just come right out and ask them if they would like to do the "Nasty, Knock Boots, The Horizontal Mambo, Play Hide the Salomi, I will Show you Mine if you Show me Yours. Get's Em every Time down at the "Old Folks Home" Ya Know!

we would be exited if you came and talked to us. Rings or not.
We were just in a store looking for black rings. I found some and called Karen over. She gives me that "you dumb ass" look I get a lot and tells me those are LDS rings. Oh well, I tried.
Wearing mine right now.
So we've decided to give black rings away FOR FREE to the ladies who attend Girls Night Out on the 15th. All you have to do is show that you've got the SwingRing mobile app running on your phone (https://SwingRing.io in your browser) -- and show up to Girls Night Out, and we'll give you a Black Ring for you AND your husband. (Assuming you know his.. er.. size.. )
If you're coming, you'll need to RSVP in advance so we know how many rings to bring! .. https://swingular.com/events.php?_a=details&_EID=1903
The rings we're giving away retail at about $10 each (they aren't junk), so this is kind of a cool deal!! (We bought them in massive bulk a few months back and got a great deal on them).

We wear ours.
Though no one has noticed just yet.

We have had ours for over a year and not one single question about them lol. But its still fun to think people notice them
It's a numbers game... Less than a tenth of 100th of a percent of the population of Utah is into swinging..... You may wear it for YEARS before someone notices.. (Just like the odds of running into a swinger at the grocery store are ridiculously slim).
Odds go up significantly if you wear them to places where swingers are likely to be (Habits on a Friday night, for example).

She wears it all the time and has never got a second look or questioned.
We have ours.. Only wear them when we go out on a couples date..

We run into other swingers ALL the time at the grocery store, the liquor store, and the gym. In fact it's kind of a running joke with some of the swingers in our neck of the woods.

We have them...love them! Many comments have been made about them.
We have talked about this at parties with our group. Most have no idea about them and those who did said they never worked for them.. We also brought up the UPSIDE DOWN PINEAPPLE in your grocery cart and also the Pineapple flag flipped over.. Most had no idea on them either.. Some say they would try the pineapple in the cart while shopping, but most just say: We'll wait to hear from peeps coming to parties!!
Side note: One of our son in laws wears a black ring in place of his expensive wedding band while at work. One of his friends asked him if he and our daughter were swingers. HE WENT NUTS... He knows we are in the LS, but doesn't like it. So oddly the only person I have ever heard of that was asked about the ring and knew about it, asked a VANILLA MAN.... How are we doing????????

Karen ordered a set of 4 or 5 of different sizes. They are silicon and are great. Flexible to fit any finger. Will be interesting to see if anyone notices.
