How does someone switch a profile from a couple to a single person?

Apparently I have to contact support. I don't have the emotional energy to do that tonight
Hope all is well!if you send an email to the support email they will change it for you... they block us from doing it so that we can't create couple accounts when in fact its a single guy... and once you are a couple again you have to give your marriage certificate, a pint of both of your blood, your first born child and 16 different bills showing both names on the account....

I read what playen4fun had written it was so easy. But then when you said that you had to contact support my experience flashed back. Not sure if the male or female is switching but I would agree unless you have time and quite a bit of emotional energy you should wait.
I had tried to change from couple to single for a bit of time. Contacting support and playing tag for weeks. Fortunately for me I was in chat and the moderator told me they could change and in less a minute it was done.
I know there are couples that are moderators or help in other areas and I believe they are your easiest way to accomplish this task. I will see if I have the name of the profile that was able to accomplish this task for me a bit ago.
