Awesome! This is the first time since I've been in Utah that I am actually able to go haha!
Oktoberfest also starts up at Snowbird this weekend. It's a don't miss if you like beer and polka music. :-P Also, Snow Basin has Blues, Brews, and BBQ's every Sunday thru the summer. Shhhhh, don't tell the out of staters that Utah really isn't this totally dry, roll up the sidewalks on Sunday, place. 
Yeah I plan to go to Oktober Fest also, but probably not this weekend. I've been wanting to go for a while as well. Although, Sunday at Snow Basin sounds fun! Thanks for the heads up Evil!
Probably not missing much not going to opening weekend. They USED to bring in a cask of beer from Munich in a little ceremony "Tapping of the Keg" and you could sample it if you were 21. Now the powers that be won't let anyone have "free" beer...or at least beer they haven't taxed yet. Maybe Utah isn't quite as wonderful as I said it was.

We're looking forward to the Beer Fest. Saturday. Other beer festivals usually charge around $25 for admission and all you can drink. I'm not fond of the SLC Beer Fest. token process and think it's a bit silly. On the other hand, it is a beer festival in Utah, so I'll regard our mugs as half full rather than half empty. Cheers

Yes, we'll attend Oktober fest. this year, not sure which weekend however. We're also planning on getting up to Snow Basin as we've heard great reviews.
We should just get group together and meet up! It will be fun!

If its anything like the one in wendover in June..DONT GO.. IT WAS AWFUL.. Waited hours in hot ass sun for a few shitty beers.. Luckily gambling and other "good stuff" made up for it
