We are thinking of checking out Sea Mountain in Palm Springs this fall...anyone been?
Yes we have been multiple times. We love the place. Great sexual atmosphere. There are no off limits places or times for having sex. The only rules if you come as a couple and the female is in the room the male will be asked to go to the room and stay until the female comes out. Second rule, no clothing allowed around the pool or hot tub. They will tell you you need to go to your room if you wish to have a bathing suit on or you can wrap in a towel.

You are allowed to wear a robe in the dining room and dance area. But at any given time there are at least 5 couples having sex in and around the pool.

Go out by the pool at like 6 am and you will be amazed at the clean job they do on the pool and hot tub.

You can fly into PSP Palm Springs for a premium. Unless your flying yourself which we have done several times. If you fly commercial best to fly into Long Beach.

We only take a singl Carry on with sex toys. The only clothes are what we are wearing. We stop at a liquor store stock up so we never leave while we are there.

Go have fun.

We're spending all our time preparing for burning man. However if anyone would like to split the cost of gas we can fly out. Takes about 4.5 hours to fly from Ogden to Palm Springs which is just a 10 min drive to SMI.

It's $75 per hour for fuel. Figure just under $400 per couple for the round trip.
Great info..thanks!

Great information! Partnerz...thanks for asking the question too! We're glad to learn there's such a fun place there in PS. Any who knew we could pack so light and have so much fun! We will be checking it out.
We have been also looking at going and it's not far for us. We joined their mailing list and seems to have allot of great specials, it also keeps you informed of what activities and special events are going on. Looks clean and classy. Looked at renting a house of premises with a pool as well, maybe be fun to do as a small group? But staying on premises looks great too, hard decision.

We love the idea of a group trip!
We've been a few times, and always enjoy it. I wouldn't go so far as to say its classy, it could use a long overdue sprucing up, but its not bad.

A group trip sounds great, if we go again we want to go with people we know, 3 or 4 couples would be fun for a w/e. We have always driven, but other options could be considered.

Have fun, but take your own booze, the Margarita mix gets old by day 2. Great staff, even nicer when they get naked! (Only Females on staff)
Went quite a few years ago. I guess it depends on your frame of reference. It was a little bit run down (they certainly could have spruced it up by now). I think if you've never been to any other lifestyle type resort and don't expect too much you'll be fine. If. however, you've been to places like Hedo or Desire you're likely to be pretty disappointed. As mentioned above it would probably be a better idea to go with a group of people you like and already find attractive rather than to take pot luck.
We will be there on the 21/22nd of this month! Any one else going?
Our last trip all the rooms had been remodeled and the beds were extremely nice. As good as any 5 star hotel we have stayed in.

We would say it clearly has been renovated.

Yes I'm sure the rooms are quite lovely. Again, frame of reference. I think comparing it to a five star hotel might be a tad hyperbolic. Here is a link to their site showing the street view. The other photos show somewhat attractive women but little of the amenities.

Sea Mountain Street View

Edit: I just noticed that Google street view was from 2012 Perhaps they've made major renovations since then. Their website has few photos showing the facilities. We remember things like the pool and pool area being extremely small. For reference, here is a photo of one of a small handful of local hotels that actually have a five star rating. The Waldorf Astoria in Park City.

The rooms are pretty nice. but other areas of the property need updating. The street view is accurate. We were there in June and that's what it looked like. It has it's good and bad points. The rooms are nice. Pool furniture is very nice. Food is practically non-exsistent on the property, and not much in the area around the resort. We talked to someone who paid extra and got the "cabana" and it is basically the house across the street. So if they wanted to hang out with other people or use the pool, they had to get dressed and walk across the street to the resort. It was fun, but I felt it was over-priced for what you get there.

How much was it, if you don't mind me asking? We were there a number of years ago (after our first trip to Hedo) and also felt it was overpriced (for what you get) way back then. I guess they can charge what they want since there isn't much competition in the continental U.S. as far as lifestyle "resorts". Anyone care to compare it to a place like Freedom Acres?
We were on a trip there, and only stayed one night. They had a "membership fee" and charged us extra for only staying one night, and it wound up being about $500.
We have not stayed at the resort! We have done a day trip there and can't wait to go back, planning on doing so soon. It is not the Ritz but it is a clean, fun place to hang out with other naked like minded people! Bring your own alcohol and food to snack on. The grocery store fried chicken is ok at best! Dewey is the owner and a really nice guy! He is the only guy you will usually see walking around as an employee.
sounds fun.
We usually stay Thursday through Sunday cost is $300 a night. Includes chicken lunch, beer, wines. Street view is accurate looks like a fortress. But I would say the rooms are nicer than anything Utah has to offer. Though smaller.
