We have never been to a lifestyle resort but we would love to go. We have been all over Mexico, never been to Jamaica. It is just about the only country/island in that part of the world we have not seen. We are really more interested in the resorts right now and your opinions/recommendations of them. We have been all over the Caribbean. Love just about everywhere we have been.

What have been your favorite swinger resorts and why? What have you not liked? Right now we really don't care about price or the time of year. We just want to get something on the calender to look forward to. Would strongly consider a swingers cruise as well.

Thanks all...........and Happy Humpday.
8/10 is pretty good. Thanks for the feedback.
We've been to Hedo three times, Desire Pearl once, and just returned from Temptations in Cancun. We'll hands down return to Pearl before any other resort. Have never been to a Desire RM but I'm sure it's nice as well.
We have been to Desires RM several times, we are members, and love it. We did take a tour of Pearl and though very nice, we'd stay with RM. Just our opinion here.
We have never been to the huge resorts in the carribean, however we have been to sea mountain inn in desert hot springs California and it is great.

It is a quick jet blue flight from SLC to Long Beach. Or we have flown our own plan into Palm Springs a couple times. But from long beach it's a 2 hour drive. From PSP it is a 15 minute drive including the stop at the liquor store to purchase your stash for the weekend.

The resort is small. Like 20 rooms spur punting a central pool, dance area, and hot tub area. In the pool, and hot tub areas clothing is not allowed. They will tell you to take it off and put on a towel. Clothing optional in your room and the dining area.

They provide breakfast and fried chicken lunches included in room rate. Dinner they order out so you pick what you want and it is delivered to you at the pool.

Free beer and wines. They come around all day giving you drinks of some creation to get you tipsy.

At any given time on weekends there are at least 100 folks there and no less than 5 couples ant all times playing by or in the pool. For voyours it is the perfect place to watch. And for us exibitionists it's fantastic.

We usually play in our room when we wake up. There are huge double glass doors. We leave the shades open so those walking by can stop and watch. Then we play by the pool at least 4 times during the day. There is just so much sexual energy that you stay ready to go.

When we go we take 1 carry on that has toiletries and toys. We never take any clothes. We were home what we went in.

Everyone is great. Since no clothes everyone is very open and friendly. Never felt pressured to play but have had some great fun ther.

Our advice try them out. There are o off limit sex spots. Nor places you have to wear clothing. Well, if you pay for a massaage they actually place a blanket over you while giving u the massage then when finished you are naked again. Go figure.

We have been to Temptation in Cabo, (now closed) And Desire RM. We had a good time at Temptation but there was not a lot of people when we went. We have been to Desire RM twice (headed back in 2 weeks). We absolutely love it. The crowds are always good ( a mix of all age ranges). The food is ok and the beach is awesome. The nightly entertainment is about what would expect of any resort in Mexico. However all the sexy people that gather in commons makes it bearable. All in all its an 8/10 in our opinion

Couldn't agree more. We have been to all of them (except Pearl), even went on a cruise last fall, and by far our favorite has been the three trips to Desire RM. The people there are awesome (staff and guests) and every time you leave you aching to go back and figuring out how to deal with the higher prices. But have to say that all have their positives, and which one is a fit for you will be a personal preference. We have friends who swear by the cruises and will do nothing else. Other friends are Hedo freaks and Desire is just too tame. Our suggestion: try them all and then decide.
If I can sell out membership to Desires, anyone interested? You get I think 25% off rates and other perks. Just not sure we can sell it, but Im sure I can find out
We've been to Desire Pearl, RM and a cruise. Both Desire resort's are great but not much to do during the day except hang at the pool or the beach, after three days I get bored but they're great for a long weekend. The difference between Pearl and RM is the size of the resort rooms and general ages of the client's. RM is a younger, party all night, cheaper, small rooms (really small) and not nearly as elegant as Pearl resort. Pearl is more upscale, very large rooms and an older client base that was in bed by midnight most nights. RM has twice the number of rooms (187 I think) and therefore twice the opportunity to find some fun trouble. The cruise was our favorite, 3,000 people of all ages and all walks of life all looking for their own thing, but plenty of people who are just like you. During the day you get off the boat (except sea days) and have a great time, then at night party like rock stars without clothes, on most of the boat. If you get bored on the cruise it's because you got tied up and they forgot about you.
If you get bored easily then I would say rent a car from the airport and drive to either Desires. There is so much to do and see on the Riviera Maya it's not funny. We have a home 45 minutes south of Desires, so we know the area. Rather than Cancun, I would suggest Playa Del Carmen. We spend 6 months of the year there and have never been bored
We have been to Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. Love the Playa Del Carmen area. Can not stand Cancun. Enjoyed a catamaran tour out of there to Isle Mujares though. We scuba as well and love the Tortuga Bay area. There is some incredible drift diving as well. Went out and fed bull sharks once as well. Not much to not love south of Cancun.
We're with you Poundcake on Cancun. Drove out on hotel row to pick up friends and we were not impressed. 5th Ave in PDC is a blast. We usually sit outside at the Tequila Barrel, drink a few beers and watch people. They even bring out water for our dogs. We live about 10 miles south of PDC. Can't wait to get back in Oct.

Actually, that's an easy one. The key is "you pay for a massage". Like anywhere else, California has laws covering massage for pay, and one law that pretty much everywhere (in the US) has is that certain parts of the body must be covered. Without the towel the masseuse would be in violation of her license, and someone might even claim it was that "other kind" of massage. ~ Terry

Sea Mountain is a great place if you are looking for an action packed atmosphere with lots of beautiful people. The vibe is a bit L.A. / Hollywood. If that works for you, then it will be hard to not have fun there.

The only place that I can think of off the top of my head that I liked better, was Fun 4 Two in Holland.
We have been to Sea Mountain once, Desire Cabo (now closed) twice, and Desire Pearl 6 times in the last 3 years. Obviously, our favorite is Pearl. We like the vibe, the elegance, food, entertainment, the whole package. I am guessing that the "action" could be busier at RM, but we have found that the people are great is you are willing to go out and meet them and mingle. We love it!
We have been to both Desire Pearl & RM in Mexico, Hedonism II in Jamaica and the Desires in Costa Rica(no affiliation with Mexico) They all have great points it all boils down to a personal preference on what type of atmosphere and amenities you are looking for within your budget. You can check out our website at Sinsationalescapes.com for more information. You can contact Lisa and she would be happy to answer any questions that you have and give you an idea on pricing.
We have a house in Costa Rica about 15 miles from the "Desire" there. Please DO NOT get it confused with the Mexican Desires! It has nothing to do with them, just copied the name. It is not in the same world, I should say country, as the others!
