Okay, we thought we would try something a little bit different this month for our Meet & Greet. So instead of doing the usual thing and meeting in a bar and drinking and carrying on like we normally do, we thought it might be a good idea to get out in the light of day and enjoy the wonderful summer weather by having a cookout.
So please come and join us at Esquire Acres Park in Idaho Falls at Noon on Saturday, July 25th to enjoy some good food and good company. We will supply a couple of grills along with some burgers, brats, and hot dogs and we ask that everyone who wishes to attend bring your own non-alcoholic beverages (it is a city park) along with a side dish to share with all of our friends. If there is something that you would like to bring to have cooked on the grills along with the burgers, brats, and hot dogs, please feel free to.
The park has a playground and bathrooms, so feel free to bring the family out with you. With that being said, since we are going to be out in the public eye and since there will be family members there, we need to do our best to behave ourselves until later in the evening when we can go somewhere so we can let our hair down and be ourselves!
====================================================
The purpose of our Meet & Greets is two-fold. The first and primary reason we hold these events is to give new members a chance to meet the rest of our group and to give the members of our group a chance to get to know new members in a public, no-pressure, social atmosphere. The secondary reason for our Meet & Greets is to give our group members a chance to get out and mingle with each other.
a) Our Meet & Greet events are open to all members of the group and potential members of the group. Therefore, invitations to our Meet & Greets are not required. However, we would love it if people would comment on the event announcements to let others know they intend to show up so we have an idea of who is going to be there.
b) Since our Meet & Greets are primarily a social events, there will be no organized, group-sponsored "After Party" at our Meet & Greets (unless it is also being billed as a Group Event), so please do NOT expect to come to a Meet & Greet with the expectation of getting laid.
c) Members are free to invite guests, or potential new group members, to a Meet & Greet, but please keep in mind while you may not be personally held responsible for the conduct of your guests, if they do become a problem we will ask you and them to leave so that the rest of us can enjoy ourselves.

We wanted to drop by and thank those of you who came out yesterday (especially "if_bi_wife" for all their help and support) and spent some time with us and our group. Even though the turnout was a bit light, we still had a good time and enjoyed meeting a few new couples. We look forward to the next one.
