I have heard that the Depo shot is not a good choice, but I want some first hand accounts. Do the pros really beat the cons? What birth control have you tried, did you like it?
Abstinence is the best birth control... Just ask every conservative legislature in the country. And they are so right because they understand the obvious concept that if you just don't talk about sex, then it won't happen. And the only side affect of abstinence is a dull and miserable life not worth living. So it is a win-win.

Instead, the Pope would prefer that you use the Rhythm Method or the "Pull out" method. Both tried and true and very reliable... Just ask every Catholic family that has like 12 kids. It is very reliable in that it ensures you have lots of unplanned pregnancies.

But you did not get pregnant during those four years did you now? See, proof positive that it works. Unless you are Mary in the New Testament, but that is the one exception to the rule.
Mirena works really well if you're not worried about the hormones impregnated (no pun intended) in it. Some people worry about having a plastic thingy that leaches out chemicals shoved up in their naughty bits but it definitely stops little hitchhikers from latching on.

Yeah, I'd have to say the IUD is the best. Seems a bit scary at first, but I was walking around and good to go the same day! Just a little pinch and it's done.

Mrs just got the IUD and we love it. However she has had to go in twice to have it trimmed as it hurts like hell when he hits it. Lol. Mr had a vasectomy. So in our opinion IUD.
On the pill for a long time, IUD now, great choice
