Hi all, my hubby and I are going to be moving from DC to Reno, NV. very soon. From what Chris has told me is that there is not alot out there as far as "Big" cities that we are used too. SO... I was just curious as to why there are so many Swingers in the general Salt Lake City area. and don't get me wrong, there appear to be LOTS of exemptionally beautiful people out there, so its just a curious question for the uninitated. WEll, when I used to live in rural Wisconsin, there seemed to be little to do other than have sex and go drinking and work...now that drinking is so much more taboo, I guess Sex is #1. Perhaps similar lack of other venues for recreation may have something to do with it too! Why they seem to be more alluring is unknown to me!
Actually POOHBEAR... its a major secret society, (swingers), that have been practicing underground in this area, away from public opinion ever since the pioneers came west. Recently it was exposed by the 20/20 news show and now everyone wants to get in on the action.

It may seem like there alot of hot and freaky people out here, but we are really just normal everyday people (no, we are freaks) who like to have a good time and have fun with other open minded people (and have sex with them in strange and interesting ways) which can be hard to come by in this fairly narrow minded region. And since they got rid of polygamy, we had to get our group sex fix somehow. Just Kidding (no we are not it is all true 100% i promise )

Welcome to NV Poohbear!! Living in Elko we have the luxury of being within driving distance to our friends in Salt Lake City AND in Reno. Reno does have 3 swingers clubs, tho they arent anything compared to the ones in Las Vegas and other areas. Just our 2 cents, but we have to agree with the "sexuall oppression" comment, most kids who get horny here in utah end up getting married just to get a little. Then there married and cant get anymore,lol. Up until a couple of years ago, we were the only ones each of us had any experience with. The curiosity and excitement got to us, oh yeah, and finding some familiar faces helped us to experience the lifestyle. Some stuff was rough, but we are so strong in our marriage now, and we believe it is because of the lifestyle. Anyway, sorry for the soapbox. We are just looking to have a great time, meet new friends, and enhance our sex life. Of course, it doesnt really matter where we live, we would probably be doing the same thing somewhere else.

I am not so sure that there is such a large group of lifestyle folk in Utah as much as it is that those that are, are very well organized and supportive when it comes to paties and gatherings and of course this web site. Also the folks in Utah seem to be more open to the idea once they realizie that it is just not- you fuck my wife and I fuck yours-. Rob and others have been very good at organizing events that cater to the lifestyle and it seem like, that at each event you find more and more curious people just wanting to join in on the great parties. After attending a few of the parties they find what great people are involved and establish friendships and then their curiosity takes over from there as far as how far into the lifestyle they go. Some only enjoy, or are ready for same room sex while others just enjoy seeing the girls dress up in their sexiest outfits and let their hair down a bit. The best part of all is that all are excepted and very seldom is any pressure felt. Rob and others that put together the parites and meet and greets just do a great job of getting people together and just letting things happen from there. The only rules we have here in Utah is that you just have to be comfortable and have a good time. Nothing more, nothing less!
Mogar, You have just described the lifestyle as it should be and is in many parts of the country... not just UT. It does seem, however, that the people on this site, particularly from UT are very very sexy. There must be someting in the water or that mormons are particularly good looking people...
