I been thinking about getting a VCH (Vertical Clitoral Hood) piercing for a while. Not sure about it it quite yet so I thought maybe I can get some pointers.
Also I wonder how long this will take to heal and how this will affect my sexy life.....

I have one and I love it. The piercing itself was a pinch for like .2 seconds, I was dying to play the moment we got home from the piercing shop. The 3rd or 4th day after, it was a little sore. Nothing a small ice pack couldn't handle.
I would advise you, however, to go to a place that specializes in VCHs, like Koi. A place like Blue Botique has pierced that do MAYBE one per day. Maybe. The chick at koi pretty much does just the VCH ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

Not trying to discourage you from getting it if you really want it but speaking from a guy's perspective it DOES get in the way of doing my best tongue work on a lovely clitoris. Just sayin'... 
You need to go get evaluated by a professional piercer and find out what piercings are available for your anatomy. It's possible you cant even get one. You might have to do a different piercing altogether. IRIS piercing studio is the best place in town, ask for Dustin.

Mr chastity has said he same thing about mine. It also gets in the way for work (pole dancer and aerialist). I don't even wear mine anymore except on special occasions. I didn't notice any big difference in sex life. As lady luck said, Getting it done was so easy and only painful for nano seconds. Mine didn't hurt at all after and I didn't wait more than a couple hours after getting it done to have sex.
I'm personally not a fan. The women who have them do like what it does to turn them on at times in the day but when it comes to playing they will get irritated, infected and bleed sometimes if you aren't supergentle. It might suit some but I guess I like it rough
