Are any other couples planning on going to Burning man this year?
We'd be interested. Anybody with information to share would be appreciated.
We've never been, we have talked about it, would be fun to get a group of sexy freaks to go
We have gone a few years, as well as a few other couples here.
Burningman.org is a good place to start.

A few high points are
-Tickets are sold out but you can always find them but takes a little work
-Burning man is really self directed and it's what you make of it
-other than ice, coffee and porta-poties, nothing is provided. You bring it all in and take it all out.
-we highly recommend a trailer
-Costumes are not required but are a big part of the fun. When I say costumes we prefer steampunk / madmax not really Halloween (though you will see that there)

I am sending this from my phone so that's enough for now :-)
Anxiously awaiting the STEP email...
Us as well actually. We are thinking good thoughts :-)
I have driven RV's up with a friend the last three years, I can only imagine the hot fun that goes on during the event. He rents his units out to corporations who send groups, and we arrive two days before the event, and the day after it ends and no matter if we are dropping off, or picking up, there are usually some hot, playful folks enjoying "nature", but be warned it can get dusty and chilly, but I guess as long as the company is hot enough, could be great fun.
But book early, they sold out last two years, and be wary of anybody selling tickets on craigslist saying they can't make it, there were like 15 cars there last year with people at the will call window that got scammed and they were irate.

Anyhow, let me know if any couples might be interested in exploring the thought of going, I was actually thinking instead of driving rental units for my friend, take my own 40 foot diesel pusher queenbed room rolling playpen up and see what kind of fun I can join in.

We'd like to go. I've wanted to do Burning Man since 1990 when I started a 9 year stay in SF, where it began in '86. But I wasn't able to go. Now I can go but tickets'd be near $800. It's ironic how something that started with sort of hippiesh people who pretty much disdained material values has become so commercial. When it was cheap I couldn't go. Now that I can go it costs way the Hell more than I could come up with. Given that it started at Baker Beach, an appropriate comment might be that Life's a Beach. ~ Terry
