I (Mr. Chastity) have been running on treadmills and using elliptical machines like crazy. 45 min to an hour at least every day, but I still have this muffin top!! I'm starting to do more ab workouts along with all other workouts after my runs, but nothing so far seems to help. Any suggestions?!
It sucks cause Mrs Chastity can NEVER get fat due to her genetics (also why she coughs a lot), That is a scientific fact. So I'm up against fantastic abs and body vs my currently flabby muffin top. What have you done to get rid of yours? And any ideas on daily workout routines for after cardio?
You would need to tell me your diet before anything.

Yup! What's your diet like?
Mr. Chastity, why don't you come on over and see if you can make me drool LoL
74 inches and under 200 pounds is far from over weight, if you are flabby at that weight you really need a reistance weght program.

Cut down on carbs esp. products made with wheat and refined sugar, calorie restriction and do intermittent fasting. Google intermittent fasting and also the 5:2 fasting program.
Fruit juices are bad since they have a lot of carbs. Do not drink any diet drinks with nutrasweet/aspartame as they will trick your mind/body into wanting sugar and undesirable carbs. Cut out any drinks or foods that will be estrogenic as much as possible. that includes beer (hops in beer is estrogenic) and soy products. Wine in moderate amounts is good. also green tea is good. Eat more veggies. Meat is ok but be selective and how it was raised and processed. Grass fed beef is desirable.
Cut out eating anything that contains or cooked with trans fats (hydrogenated oil)! Food companies are starting to cut these plastic fats out of their products fortunately. Our bodies have a difficult time breaking down these fats and are not eliminated efficiently out of the body and thus stored.
Excising is good but unless you do the other protocols it will not provide the results you want. also here are some exercising suggestions: http://health.allwomenstalk.com/best-exercises-for-muffin-top look #3 video- the ball crunch looks like it would be very effective.

I have been working on "My Muffin Top" for Nye on to 60 years, and have finally perfected it into a "Full Blown Beer Gut" Good luck with your workouts!
One of the things we did was visit a dietician and she measured actual fat in various place on our body and came up with a percentage of fat. From there and based on our workout schedules she suggested a diet of low fat low carb and sugar, high protein. We did not loose a lot of weight but what we lost was fat and it happened very fast. We try to keep our fat intake to less than 20% of total calorie intake. That means very little beef, mostly chicken, turkey and fish along with veggies and little or no cooking oils. Most of the flavor is from spices we use in our food prep. We eat a lot of protein in the morning and throughout the day and we eat about 5x. The killer is drinking alchohol and eating out. Good luck

Yup, diet. It's more often what you AREN'T doing that makes the difference. If you're eating clean look at your workouts. If you're working out hard then look at your diet. The one thing I'd possibly suggest JUST for your workouts is cutting back on the running and adding some heavy lifting. It made a huge difference for me back when I was a hard core runner and still felt like I had a little more tummy than I wanted. Also, our bodies adapt fairly quickly to a workout routine and most successful exercisers find they have to change their workouts often to keep their bodies from adapting. And look at the intensity level of your workouts. Shorter, more intense workouts have been proven to be far superior to longer, slower workouts.
Oh, and Oscar is a RIDICULOUS name for a muffin top. I used to call mine Bran. It's healthier for you.
