Hi. We're looking to take the RV and new toys out next weekend to Moab and would like to find a nice isolated spot for boondocking that's reasonably close to 4 wheeling and hiking trails. The isolation part is because we also intend to have some crazy loud mad monkey sex while we're there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
We would also like to know. We are wanting to do a spring jeep/camping trip with enough isolation for at least topless fun.
Head down to Sand Flats rec area along 128...we mtn bike and camp down that way and plenty of places to doc
Some good spots on the way up to top of the world. It's a long nice grades dirt road that has plenty of pull off spots for Rv or motor home camping. Might be a bit busy during the day but should be fine at night. Fyi top of the world trail is AWESOME!!! Well worth it
Lockhart Basin is the best for naked fun, wheeling and hiking. Enter from the south end of Lockhart on the way to Canyonlands. The camp sites are near Indian Creek.
Indian Creek Camp area is off of Highway 211, about 15 miles northwest of Newspaper Rock heading toward Canyonlands National Park.
