The thing is, there is just SO much reality tv fodder here behind the Zion curtain. Polygamists. Gay homosexual Mormons in hetero marriages (so they won't go to hell), etc.. For every person who has said, "Enough!" and joined the ranks of the wicked there are at least two more who pretend to follow the straight and narrow path but behind closed doors are just as kinky or worse than the most depraved swinger. I read an article some years ago about the "sugar daddy" lifestyle and how very prevalent it was here in Utah with many rich and well connected older men (many with strong LDS church connections) having one or more young women that they were helping financially (to afford college, etc.) in exchange for sexual favors and companionship. Can't imagine that the church or local and state leaders are very happy to see these television shows and the light they cast on the dark corners of Zion.
