We're one person short to make it worthwhile for the esthetician to come all the way up here for waxing on Jan 3. Someone else out there must have a use for an unusually inexpensive, but professional, body waxing up here in Ogden next Saturday.

We did this back in October, and it's time to try it again. (This is a reschedule from a couple weeks ago because I'd gotten sick) A professional, licensed, esthetician from Lehi, who does all sorts of waxing, from eyebrows to legs and anything in between, for quite a lot less than any salon does, will come up here, set up in our house, and wax folks. If we do get enough people this time to make it worth her while to make the trip, we'll start at 10:30 AM on Saturday, Jan 3. For anyone who had it done for the first time last time (I think there was at least one person who hadn't been waxed before), you'll find that it's a whole lot easier the second time around; only about a third of your hairs will have come back in, and they aren't old enough yet to be well rooted, so they come out a lot easier. Reply here, but please also respond directly to our profile if you want to participate, I need to to let her know how many people there will be, and just what they want done, so she knows how much stuff she needs to bring with her. We will provide soft drinks and some munchies for people while they're waiting their turn.
You can shave, you can get Laser hair removal, or you can get waxed. So why get waxed? With waxing you get no razor bumps, no razor burn, a MUCH smoother result (as good as laser hair removal), and NO scratchy stubble as hair starts to regrow. Only about a third of the hairs start growing in at first (the hair seems to be in 3 sort of "groups", each group growing on a different schedule), and it grows in really soft and fine, and waxing lasts a lot longer than shaving. People who get a Brazilian go at least 6 weeks, and many ( I THINK it's really most) people can go 2 months or more before needing it again. Laser removal is just as good, and lasts longer than waxing, but laser removal requires several separate treatments and costs hundreds of dollars.
Here's her price list. For the female Brazilian and the "Manzilion" there is a range because it can be more difficult to do for some very few people. The chances that you will be one of those people is very small, but if you are she'll tell you where in the range you will be. If you're not, and the vast majority of people are not, you'll be at the lower price. As far as I know, the last time we did this, nobody was above the bottom of the price range. As you can see, she is notably less expensive than any of the salons, and she does do excellent work. While she does this part time, she is a professional, fully trained and licensed by the state.
