Never been but would love to go

This year we have two night party at a private venue so it should be as fun as last year.

That the best part about this party is it fun for all ages and experience level. Last years we had as great mix of people from newbie to experienced and everyone seems to have a great time without any drama!!

From what I can see, it probably is a great time. If you're in, at most, your '30s. Kind of like most all Sinful Saturdays things. If you're, say, obviously in your '40s, or REALLY late '30s, you're probably not going to know anyone, and likely not going to get to, either, because the younger folks just aren't going to be very interested in you. We did try a Sinful Saturdays event once, mainly so the mrs. could meet a new fellow, she went in with him, I went in with another girl, all of us do look like we're in our 40s (which is actually something of a miracle, in my case). The girl I was with DOES know some of the younger folks, mainly 'cause she used to have parties at her house, and the whole time we were there the only time any of us so much as had any kind of a conversation with anyone was with one couple that actually knows her. And even then, those folks obviously had no interest at all in even talking with any of use except her, beyond the initial "Hi, glad to meet ya". It's kind of sad, at least for fools like me who never did, and I guess never will, get much beyond their 20s mentally, but the younger people just aren't interested, especially in an atmosphere that, in one way or another, revolves around sex. Not that it's anyone's "fault", it's just how the world works. And yes, I do know there are some exceptions. But not very many. So now, keeping in mind that I did throw that sort of caveat in there, everyone can feel free to give me all kinds of Hell for stating the obvious. ~ Terry

Terry, your right when it's comes to sinful Saturday parties tend to be a younger crowd but we tend to have a few older couples who usually attend our lava trip and everyone seems to have a great time.

We're very, very new to all of this -- but we've found that meeting younger people (under 50) to be exceptionally difficult... The younger crowd likes the club scene (and the loud music that goes along with that makes socializing nearly impossible) and the quieter meet & greets (where you can talk and get to know each other) are weighted heavily towards the older folks.

So we are looking forward to a chance to socialize with some under-50's without having to yell over the music.. =)

Grab them early this year. Last year we had people trying to get room and tickets up the last couple days before the event started and we had couples not be able to get rooms or tickets.

Due to the fact that Lava is a small and fun town, just a handful of places to eat(that amount may significtly increase once we all arrive) and a couple of great hot pools ... it may be fun to wear white bracelets so we'll know we're with the group while we're not at the party and such.

Drive up to salt lake and carpo with some of your friend from up here. Last year we had a few couple from down south that car pool together up there. A cheap way to make the trip affordable and cut down on the drive time

We just called and booked one of the doubles, got the same room we stayed in last year! Excited! Gotta go get our tickets for the party now

The Home Hotel has renovated about half of their rooms, they list them on their website home hotel.com. The room we wanted to stay in wasn't available online, so we called them and asked if it was available through Mike's reservation and it was, so we booked it... It's not luxury, but it suits us nicely. Fun little get away, we're excited and can't wait!

Look like so far it's going to be a great turn with all the sexy fun couples who are going to attending the lava take over this year

We've heard second-hand that it's a great time, but not sure how to get more info... Can anyone point us in the right direction?

We got a call from Home Hotel and they only have a few rooms left so If you want to stay with the group you may want to jump on getting rooms now. They have a total of 7 rooms left including what is left under the reservation we did. If you call home hotel mention your with Mike Lava Take over group they will get you our group rate and put you with us. Also you still need to purchase ticket at sinfulsaturdays.com($75 couple, $35 for single females cover both days events) to be able to attend the parties and day activities we have planned. Nope not at all, we only set up our group rooms to save people money. You can home hotel and let them know your with our group and they will give you our group rate

Tickets are selling and it looks like we are gonna have a really fun, hot crowd this year!

Some fun info for everyone (I'm kind of a nerd, so sue me..)

I wrote a little tool that goes through the event pages and gathers all the people who clicked the RSVP button and does some statistics on who's attending. I like it because it tells us whether or not a particular event is worth attending, since age is such an important factor for us... [We find that we have very little in common with couples who are over 50).

As of right now, and based on the people who have clicked the RSVP button......

The rooms is available is a 2 queen bed room, it's one of there remodeled nicer room. Call the home hotel and get your hands on it before it's gone. It's under Mike lava trip.

We also spoke to aura soma hotel and they have a room available for Saturday night and two houses available.

The years past the only playing in the public hot pots all occurred at night after they were closed. Unfortunately there isn't any completely private hot pots in lava
