We will be in Madrid, Spain and Marrakech, Morocco for 2 weeks starting 12/3, we know Morocco is dead but wondered if anyone who's been to Madrid could point us in the right direction? We speak Spanish, so language not a barrier.

I dunno about Spain, but the STD thing isn't much of a problem among the licensed prostitutes/escorts in Germany, it's legal, and they're careful and have regular checkups, so I'd say have fun with the girl and let the old perv watch and jack off. Who cares? And a lot of the prostitutes over there are otherwise "normal" girls. The old cliche about the girl working her way through college? Happens in Germany, and some other European counties. Prostitution isn't exactly a high class job, but doing it while young doesn't necessarily ruin a girl's whole life. Different laws, and a different social attitude.
Now that doesn't apply to streetwalkers, who are most likely drug addicts, and may also not apply in Spain. It's a highly Catholic country, and while I don't know their laws, I wouldn't be surprised if prostitution was illegal there, and if they had all the problems associated with it that exist in the U.S.
And believe it or not, if some clown gives a girl a hard time, over ANYTHING, she can call the cops and the cops WILL deal with the jerk. In some places, like Amsterdam, the police even have the authority to ban someone from the red light district on pain of instant arrest, and they do do it. Only in places where it's illegal do there seem to be all the problems, crime, drugs, disease, that we have associated with it here in most of the U.S. Like I said, different laws, different social attitudes. ~ Terry
Well not too sure about swinger clubs, but we were there last year and the hotel we stayed in had one of the top rated rooftop bars in all of Europe, and the hotel itself was amazing, if you like trendy hotels, the name of the hotel was "ME" Madrid, it is probably in one of the best locations.
Advice? Yes. Stay away from anyone using those castanet things when your naughty bits are hanging out. Looks like a painful accident just waiting to happen.
