This Saturday an esthetician is coming up to our house in Ogden, a couple blocks off Washington Ave. near about 8th, to do waxing for anyone who wants it. Since I just harvested the bee hive this weekend, I'm going to give any couple or person who comes a jar of fresh local honey. We only have, counting ourselves, 3 couples so far, and she'll get here about 10AM, and can stay until whenever, so there's still room for a few folks if anyone's interested.
She is experienced and licensed, she can do any and all body waxing, from eyebrows to legs and anything in between, and her rates are substantially less, both for men and for women, than any salon charges. So save yourself a trip to maybe as far as SLC, save some money, and go home with some extra sweetness.
We'll have some munchies and some non-alcoholic beverages, it is a waxing party as opposed to a "normal" party, but just in case someone gets the urge, the waxing will be done in the office, and we do have a good sized bed in the bedroom that they could borrow for a while.

There are the prices, less than any salon is going to want, and she does great work. Where there's a range, it depends on how difficult the person is to do, but I've also been told that her actual prices in those cases are usually at the bottom end of those ranges.

She is hot, ain't she? I guess you'd have to ask her. And her hubby. BUT... even if they think it's a good idea, I'm instituting a house rule - no licking honey off the Esthetician while she's waxing someone, especially if it's a guy. I don't want to have to file a homeowner's claim because she got so distracted that she ripped off something important, and the guy and his wife sued me for damages. And depending on who the guy was, I might even get sued by half the girls in the lifestyle for loss of services. The insurance company might drop me when they investigate and find out how the accident happened.

This is the Mr. I would like to throw out there that the nose wax is the best thing that I have done. I have been the mrs guinea pig for years and it is surprisingly the least painful. The wax is poured into the nostril and gets out all those hairs that hang out your nose.
Uh - how do you breathe? And what if you breathe in the wax? Scary.
Great idea! I usually wax myself but it would be fun to be around other people getting it done and it would be nice to have to not do it myself for a change. haha From when to when on Saturday?

I've done it every 4 weeks for over a year now. The first time ever was the WORST! It felt like there were little anchors being ripped out of my skin. I was definitely hating life that first time. I was being very vocal. The part that hurts the worst is the top part of the base of the penis. Where your stomach meets your penis. Believe it or not, the part that hurts the least is your butt, the shaft and balls. I love getting waxed, they come out really easily! It feels a lot better than shaving and you don't have to touch it for four weeks. It stays really smooth for at least 2 weeks for me. It never gets prickly anymore, even when I'm at three to four weeks. The small hairs are a lot thinner, softer and a lot less noticeable than when I was shaving. Now it just feels like a good stress reliever when I wax. I take it out on those unwanted hairs! haha

Actually we do one side at a time, it's relatively painless and it's much easier then pulling them individually, shaving, or trimming. Super easy! Worth a try if you have that particular problem. (Almost every man does)

Hey, folks, today's really the last day to sign up if you want to get waxed Saturday. I need to get a firm list by tonight (Thursday) so I can get the info, how many people, needing exactly what waxed, to the Esthetician on Friday she can figure out how much supplies to bring and, if necessary, scheduling to accommodate anyone who needs a specific appointment time.
nose waxing is amazing and as stated completely painless! If you haven't tried it you really should!
