Many of you are veterans or current servicemen or women....thank you for your service...here's some camouflage for you! XOXO
Thanks

Hey, I'm a vet. Even got one of those "too dumb to duck" medals, sometimes known as a Purple Heart. Can I get Mrs. Classy passion to give me a personal reward? If so, I'll bet I could get Mr. Classypassion one from Mrs. Tmaca. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to give Mrs. Classypassion one, too; she doesn't believe in sex discrimination.
Happy Veterans Day! Appreciate what you've done! THANKS!
To all those who have served, and their families, what a sacrifice to have given had to deliver the freadoms we so very often take advantage of. For those who do take advantage I feel ashamed, but then thats what you fought for their right to not care.
But from those of us that do we will never be able to fully pay back the rights and freadom you brave souls have given us. Thank you for you service, your sacrifice and your love for this country
Cheers Krazy
Thanks to the many Vets in the Lifestyle for your service and sacrifice, it is a great brotherhood that I am proud to belong to!
I took ROTC in high school (okay fine, I was forced by Ogden School District) does that count?

But yes, thanks to the vets who stood proud for our country and did their duty...even though most were screwed (and not in a good, like swinging, way) by the VA when they came home.

Thanks to all who have served and to the family's who have lost loved ones. Maybe someone could have a party so they could show there favorite Vet just how appreciative they are.
Many years in the military does make me more appreciative of a woman's touch.
I'm glad to vets are appreciated more nowadays than we were 30 years ago in the Vietnam era. The patriotism I see nowadays is heartening.
I just found out today is NOT Veterans Day. I demand that this thread be taken down immediately and put back up tomorrow. Don't make me call Seal Team 6!
I am proud to serve amongst some of the finest men and women of our nation and also I'm grateful for those that support us. Thank you!

How could you have possibly resisted enlisting after having done HS ROTC? For Heaven's sake, they would have made you a Private E2, instead of a Private E1.

P.S.: That's REAL good camo, it hides everything the enemy (and not-enemies) would be looking for.
Thanks for the words of appreciation, that means a lot! And many more thanks to those who also served or are currently serving!

Actually thought about enlisting after grad school but they had discontinued the program that repaid your student loans for a predetermined number of years service so I told them to go fuck themselves. Then I recently thought maybe I would join the Guard or the Reserves to give back a little. Thought maybe they could use someone with my skillset. They said I was too old so I told them to go fuck themselves.

TMACA I think that one is called the enemy marksmanship badge, one of the two I never ever wanted nor received thank goodness. The other is the enemy hospitality badge (POW), which would be a bummer to get also. I did get a badge for a great hair cut once though...just sayin.

You did better than I did - the only thing I ever got for a haircut was an Article 15 once. And besides, I found out a while ago that in Utah it's called the Free Tuition At Any State Owned School Medal. Hooray for Utah, even if the Mormons do run the place.

I know what you mean. A few years ago I told the guys at a Marine recruiting table at a gun show that if they could figure out a way to get me back into uniform I'd go the next day. They didn't even try, and that was when they were screamin' for bodies, even forcibly reactivating "retired" people. It's a bitch bein' old.

I hear ya. I made a deal with my kids. If they can outrun me in a race or outlift me at the gym they can call me old. Otherwise they need to shut the fuck up. I know for a fucking fact I'm in better shape than probably half the kids who enlist these days. Old geezers RULE!

But my daughter is getting REALLY close to beating my race times.
This is the Day we all want to thank our Friends and Neighbors in the Armed Services past and present. They are the ones who know the true meaning of giving all. Thank you for your service to this great country of ours! The 11th month, 11th day, at the 11th hour!
Can't say thank you enough!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
Want to take the time to thank you all for you support for those of us that served. Your support and gratitude makes our sacrifice all worth the time we spent wearing the uniform.
Thank You Vet!

Many serve in many different ways, some of those see and experience things they wish they could but will never forget! Sacrifices such as these are ever present for those who serve still to this day. Thank you fellow warriors and countrymen for your sacrifices, long suffering, and I feel honored to call you brother in arms (yes, even you women).

Thank You to all those who serve and have served.

National hug a vet day, I am open to a hug, We all love hugs!

Ain't that the truth. I remember never telling a prospective employer I was a vet, let alone a Vietnam vet, for fear of being turned down on the spot. And being real careful not to let any girl know I'd been in the Army until I was sure our relationship, whatever ti was, was firmly established. Too many people seemed to think we were all dope crazed mother killers and baby rapers.

Someone should host a veterans day party. All vets get priority for the hot tub. Those with Purple Hearts, CABs, CIBs, or CMBs (CARs for you jarheads and squids) and the like get priority for the girls, booze, and bedrooms. A recruiter will be standing by to get the really drunk ones to reup and go do it all over again, so us old guys will finally have an advantage over all those young studs in the lifestyle, 'cause we know they don't want us back, so we'll be safe.
