(from Terry)
The other day someone (please forgive me, I can't recall who, too much stuff has happened the past few days, and I'm horrible with remembering names anyway) was talking about maybe trying to start a Sunday coffee group in Ogden. Whoever that was, has anything come of it? We'd both be interested. As long as whatever place gets chosen never runs out of mocha coffee, to which Dana is addicted.

That's a great idea, the coffee group! Would be quite the drive for every Sunday, unless it was a bit more southerly.
Terry,
If you are suggesting it let's make it happen!
Our fave is a little place on 1900 near Riverdale called Jessie Jeans Coffee Beans.
They roast on sight and is yummy stuff, they also make a killer breakfast.
Other places would be Grounds for Coffee on Harrison.
Let's get input into time and place and go!
Toujours Flammes.

Car pool!!!
Sunday morning coffee klatch? Sweet. We would be there .. if we are anywhere in the same area code due to all our travel. But great idea.
Well THE best coffee in the entire fucking world is in Woods Cross. Unfortunately it's kinda small and there isn't a lot of room to sit and chat (okay fine, it's a drive thru coffee kiosk) but we could all sit in our cars, make our phones into mobile wifi spots and log into Swingular and bitch about the chat room not working. We're in!

I'm thinkin we would be interested in draggin our butts outa bed for a coffee meet on Sun... SL Valley area would be our choice ~
If the timing works out for us, I'm sure we could make one of these.

Yes terry we would like to join sound like a good way to meet more great people
We definitely be interested in joining.
Count us in!
sounds like a plan.. Would really enjoy that.
Same here
Great idea, count us in!
What time? Cookiesncream will be up there recovering from a what will be a crazy night and coffee will be just what the doctor ordered.
in2love we can plane the next party we was talking about, would be a good time to do that
Let us know

You know Spock if you just do what I do and change your age on you profile you can sneak into the college party. Now relax and have some coffee.

I thought about that myself, and I do have a perfectly legit college student ID in my wallet. But it's too much fun surprising people by doing all sorts of things that "old guys" supposedly either can't or don't do. It's also fun getting grabbed by the you-know-what and almost pulled into the bedroom by some girl who refuses to believe how old you are, even after 3 different people, including your wife, tell her that yes, you are that old. Even when the whole thing results in inadvertent property damage, since Dana was kind enough to pay the host in trade. Even though she wasn't involved in the incident. Wait a minute - who really profited, the host, or Dana ?

But seriously, she was a very sweet girl, and not just 'cause she doesn't think I'm even close to as old as I am. Although that doesn't hurt one little bit.
property damage..... hell you all broke it in half, I did cut open the bottom of it and there was a knot in the wood and some of the boards was split......... so I would have to say the HOST made out..... but it was a good night all in all....... next time I will have a donation jar out for property damage replacement..... LMAO

I KNEW it had to be faulty materials from the factory! They should warranty it and give you a new one. It couldn't really have been us, we were all just sitting around reciting poetry!
And now I'm laughing hysterically again, imagining the people who weren't there thinking, "Broke it in half? "Knots in the wood? Cut it OPEN? What in the HELL are these people talking about?"
I've NEVER had anything so funny happen. We're gonna end up as the toast of the party circuit, Dana for obvious reasons, and me for the comic relief I provide.
But she DOES have a very special talent, doesn't she?

why yes she does, but next time I will have to CUT the bottom out before I bring it home so I know it will not brake in half, and there is no knots in the WOOD but I hope the wife and you did have a good time....... even if you did leave your glasses and smoker behind tell the next day LMAO next time before you leave I will ask you "NOW DO YOU HAVE EVERY THING Terry"
(from Terry)
I vote Jessie Jeans coffee Beans. First 'cause they do breakfast. Second 'cause if Grounds For Coffee on Harrison is at all like the one on 25th, the service will be less than stellar, third, 'cause they do breakfast.
And any time on Sunday, as long as it isn't before, maybe, 11 or so. I haven't checked with Dana yet to see if we're going, but we may be trying to recover from a Saturday night party too.

Hey, I've got a valid excuse. Guys as old as me can claim Alzheimer's. Besides, as long as I manage to leave while I still have the important bits, it's all good. If THAT got broke in half I'd have a slight problem.

On the other hand, I once saw a T-shirt in a shop window in Greenwich Village, it had an old guy's face, tongue hanging out, and an open jar of mustard. Caption said, "When you're too old to cut the mustard, you can always lick the jar. AND I can still tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue."

Uh uh, that's like apples and oranges. Even Ronny Reagan in his last weeks wouldn't have been able to forget something that hilarious.
And read the alzheimers thing again - I just edited it.

Back on topic. Have we firmed up a location and a time for coffee Sunday? If we can't pin it down, we can't get it to happen

Yes it would..
I would love to attend. How is the seating availability at Jesse Jeans? I have been there once and it seemed small. This may be an odd suggestion, but the Warrens has great breakfast omelettes and such plus they have a large sitting area. I have not eaten breakfast at the Riverdale one but the other ones have great food and service. They actually take orders at your booth.
There is a new coffee place called Scooters over by Harmons in Roy looks nice for what we seen but have never had there coffee or breakfast
id go I think it would be fun and what a great id mess me when and where

This Sunday may be bad. But, keep us posted for a future date!
I have been informed by the boss (Flame) we have prior commitments this week.
