Hey, I got a question for whoever can answer it. What's old guys mean? I mean, people do mention not being interested in them on their profiles, so what does it mean? Is it how they look, or how the think and act, or is it just their actual age because people expect anyone of some certain age to think and act or look a certain way?
Old women are never mentioned.
(M) To funny, my friend IN_UR_DREAMES named me OLD GUY when we met and made me fourth on her list. (how would it be to have a list) Well it wasn't long before she dumped TATTOO and BOORING guy for me and now is in favor of me instead of HOT GUY. Guess there is still something to say for experience when you give us a chance.

Any way, I really am trying to figure this thing out. It can't be looks. Hell, there are guys on here my wife's age that I look younger than, and I'm past the age limit for almost anyone who has an age limit. And it can't be behavior, nobody has a clue how I do or don't behave, with maybe 2 or 3 exceptions. And the only sensible reason for the age itself to matter is if someone just assumed that, past some certain age, the guy would automatically be sloppy fat, wrinkled all over, whatever, and/or have an attitude out of the stone age. But anyone can check out the first by looking at profile pics, and as for the second, if he did have some antiquated ideas, he probably wouldn't be here, and besides that you can often get an idea what someone's attitude is like from the profile, too.
Well..I really wasn't kidding much about the actual age thing...A lot of the ones here usually have two major responses to that. They are not interested in someone old enough to be their parents..that's just too weird...or, right, or wrong, they assume someone that age couldn't possibly have much in common with them. At least that's been our experience.

I think Wet nailed it. I (him) am in better shape than my 30s and 40s and I know I look better than in my 20s so I really have no complaints. If this is being the old guy than sign me up because I'm having the time of my life. As for women's opinion on the matter of old guys thats a much different discussion. I'm sure some like em and some base it more on the individual and some just want younger on occasion. Whatever their preference I am not offended.

For anyone who has an old guy question, I love my old guy. Yes I have a list and yes I can pretty much do whatever I want with whoever I want. And I've had some really great guys. But I have to say that my old guy is amazing. My guy I call hot guy is 20 years younger than my old guy, and yes my hot guy is awesome. But old guy is definitely some strong competition. Prolly lots of reasons. Off the top of my head would YOU want to do someone the same age as your mom...or your grandma? On the other end of things would you want to fuck someone younger than your daughter? I would venture to guess that almost everyone has some metrics they use to sort people into categories they are looking for and categories they aren't. Politics. Interests/hobbies. Background. Distance. Weight. And sadly, for some even race. Easy to say "just not go any farther" after meeting someone but if you're about 99% sure you aren't going to want to fuck someone (for whatever reason) why meet them in the first place? Why waste your time and theirs? And unfortunately there are a LOT of people who don't take rejection well and will at very least cause a scene or worse. So there you have it. People post age limits to not encourage people they likely wouldn't be into. The same way some people say they only want height/weight proportional people or any one of a number of different sorting criteria. JMO

It's been my experience that quite a few younger women think I'm hot, I don't quite understand why, but I love it. I don't see anything spectacular when I look in the mirror, but they seem to see something that I can't see myself. I'm definitely not complaining. I think alot of it has to do with personality, if you treat people right they love you.
