A few of us from the southern end of the valley would love to take a ride up in the Ogden area Sunday...anybody up that way care to join us and show us your "secret great rides in the area"? Weather looks to be about 70...doesn't sound like this is going to hold up too many more weekends..come on with us!
We would probably go for that ride. Let us know if something develops.

Meeting at Sapp Bros truck stop off of 2-15 and 13th So in SLC at 9:30. Kickstands up at 10:00! Ride Over East canyon to Morgan..then Trappers loop to Carlos and Harleys in Eden for lunch. Never been there..but sounds good! From there..guess it will depend on the time and us as to how we want to return! Come on out everyone! We'd love to meet you!

We could meet up with the Northern Group on our way up. Say at the Gas Station at the junction to Trappers Loop. IN2LOVE, or any others interested, give us an Idea what works for you folks.
Well since I am the most only one up north posting I think I will pass the 5 minute ride from the gas station to C & H. Have a great ride you guys we will join you next year for some riding

Same old drama if you read your first post is says ride up to Ogden to join those up here. Not ride 10 blocks not even get out of the same county to meet up with those up north. So no I am not expecting you to cater to me Mr Wowmama just say what your doing then do what you say. I have been riding for almost 40 yrs don't need anyone to ride with and if I do I will ride. We have been involved with many groups over the years ABATE BACCA rode with many MC and we have never seen more drama with any groups then we have with the motorcycle group on swingular. So we have chose not to go to the meetings. We have met some of the people in the group so its not everyone but there is those and they know who they are that thrive on the drama. So to end this rant and rave have a great ride. Hope some day we will ride with you all either there or up here. Just remember say what you do then do what you say. Have a safe and great ride.

You're talking about the puddlejumpers. And yes I agree with you that it was full of drama. It got totally away from why we started the group in the first place. Among a few other reasons, that's why most of us left that group. The motorcycle group page is just a forum for people to post rides in. It has nothing to do with any particular group.
I'm not worried about how much riding experience anyone has, 35 years myself. Won't have anything to do with the clubs. Not my style.
If someone posts a ride and wants to change it up, it's his perogative. If I don't like the ride I won't go. Simple as that.
Anyway, a couple of us will be riding most of the winter and anyone willing to brave the temps is welcome to join us.

I agree it's much better to ride with friends then those who feel they can bring Drama with them. As to getting away from clubs due to drama, I know how that goes since Being told your not welcome because we think we are better then you. found its much better to find real friends for fun rides.
All I can say is at least you get to ride. I miss it so much. I wish I had the wheels to go. 10 min or an all day ride take advantage of it cause you never know when your last ride will be. This drama has to stop. Its ridiculous.
Dayum, folks, don't be gettin' so ornery over a bike ride! Sounds like fun ... it's nice of some of you southerners to make your way up north a bit ! i'll bet it's gonna be a great day for a ride. We'll often make a loop by snow basin that includes the old snow basin access road ... if you take a blanket there's lots of places to pull off and have a "nature experience" just off the main road.
I'm writing this from a campsite in Snow Canyon State Park on Saturday evening ... so we've obviously got other plans, but what great weather for it and so few opportunities left... get out there people!!!

The Motorcycle group is just what it says it is. A place to put down any and all rides that you might want to list. If someone wants to ride with you, they can answer there, and decide where and when they all want to ride. Folks from all ages and all styles of Bikes are welcome. Just post a ride and I am sure you will find someone that wants to meet and ride.
Thanks Myrnastwins! You're right. It is just a place for folks to post anything they want pertaining to a ride or meet they know of, pictures, whatever they want as long as it pertains to motorcycling in some way.. The more that use the place, the better it is for everyone!
BTW..Thanks to everyone that came out and rode with Tif and I today! We had a blast! Weather was perfect...food was good...and the friends were great! Thanks!
