I am thinking to shot UNDER 35 party (college style). It will be a private house party. (Possibly downtown in SLC) Rule is each participants must be 35 yr. old or under. Open for any suggestions & ideas

While I understand Evil's concern about all those old folks out late, I'm more worried about them being shot if they are under 35. From the first post, perhaps this is a plot to get all the youngsters out of the lifestyle so us fogeys can have a chance to play?
I'm more worried about what kind of 35 year olds are still in college. I know it's hard to squeeze in those upper division courses when some are only offered once a year or so but really?!!?

Thats the differnece in parties with some older folk. We don't get excited. Dont have all the drama. We actually would enjoy going and watching from a distance and see how many younger folk with no older ones around to know just how to ack. We ahve NEVER been to a party where somone over 35 had to be asked to leave or back off. But almost every party where someone under 30 had issues.
Perhaps that is the fun of the younger group. Mrs. Simple is under 35 and just laughed at the thought. Was not interested in the dramma. Just the topic creates drama.

Just do the parties man. Who cares. It's nice for younger couples to be able to have a party with those closer to what they're likely looking for. We were swinging in our mid-twenties and it would've been nice. Most people have preferences, and age is often one. Up 10 or down 10 usually a safe bet for most as we have learned over the years. If ya can't get in - who gives a sh*t?
Everybody have fun and if someone isn't in to you or you're not invited - don't be ass hurt! Move along and find others or another party. Big deal.

I like this guy's approach. He's not insulting anyone or insisting he's better, just setting up a party for people who are younger. and I understand that. Frankly, I'm not attracted to 20 year olds anymore. They just seem too young, it feels like I'm flirting with a junior high schooler. So yes, go be young! Go with the blessings of us Old Ones!
He absolutely should be able to host a party for any demographic he wants. It just could probably be done a little more discreetly. I guess perving profiles and writing polite emails/invitations is simply too much work when you have midterms coming up soon. I wonder if anyone would take exception to someone starting a thread about a party but stating there will be a strict weight limit and/or requiring photos to make sure only pretty people come. How about one only for certain ethnicities? Hmmmmm

Discretion true. Weight limits pretty much weed themselves out. We Fat Folk realize we don't appeal to everyone. We just don't want to be shamed about it, because hey, turns out fat shaming doesn't actually help us lose weight! Who knew that being cruel to others wouldn't help them?
And yes he should definitely have done it by just inviting people he thought made the cut. It's worked whenever I've been invited to a coworker. "Hey, we're having a party, you're welcome to come, don't tell anyone else." If you have a party, tell others they're not invited and shove it in their faces repeatedly as well as telling them they're inferior, then yes, it's not the best way.
And yes, this guy is being lazy. But so far he hasn't told anyone that we suck and only one of the younger crowd has been offended! Just ONE! Oh what a glorious day this is on the Swingular Forums!
