Has anyone been to Crystal Hot Springs in Northern Utah? We spent saturday night there, and we both wondered how many of the couples there could have been in the lifestyle. Just curious if anyone ever travels up there. We are thinking about heading up there again, and thought it would be fun to meet others up there.
We frequently it a lot during the winter, it's a great place to go relax and spend a couple hours at. Nice thing it's only an hour from our house.
We live 15 min from there, I have never heard of it as being a LS friendly.
We are not sure how LS friendly it is, which is why I posted the question, to see how friendly it really could be. We went with our kids, but the later the night got, the more couples you saw relaxing and hanging out. It would be a fun place to meet and just chat, as the night got later it was much more relaxing.
we camp there and there used to be a group that camped out there but kept things on the down low because they advertise as family friendly
Sounds like fun wife has wanted to go there forever. Let us know when
Been there several times, but never go the impression there were any LS people there. I'd be game for meeting some (LS) people there sometime.
It's an enjoyable place. Good place to meet and say hello.
Where is it? We were going to go up to the Spanish fork springs but we're on this nutty low calorie cleanse diet (don't ask,I am being coerced into it by the Mrs for moral support) and the hike about killed us ha. nice place but we wouldn't turn down a place that's not two miles up a hill....
We might be going there camping next weekend or up to blacksmith fork. Which ever one any friends want to go to we are up for it.
I have been to Crystal a few times but I prefer Maple Grove outside of Preston Idaho since it is hotter in temp in the springs as well as a more intimate setting. I hiked up to Diamond Fork in Spanish Fork canyon a few weeks ago with a group of friends and had a blast, but fun is always to be had at any hot springs if you are with good people. I would love to go with a group in the LS.. let me know.
Tonight would be a great time to meet at Crystal...
We will be there next weekend camping. Let's make it a party
We have been away for a while, and glad to see that there is some interest. We haven't planned anything, anytime soon, but would love to meet some people for a soak and conversation sometime. We should plan a MnS and see how much interest we could gather, and then possibly make it a year around thing.
I wonder if there's ANY hot springs in Utah that allows nekkid folks.
We've been to Diamond Fork/5th Water, up Spanish Fork Canyon many times. We've played there several times and taken some great photos there. Fall is the best time to go. Spring is muddy. Summer is hot.
I have been there many many times. It is a fun place. relaxing for sure. they got a lot of strange people there but on a weekend night it will have lot of sexy people too. We live in Ogden so its not to far of a drive. dont go there with the idea that its a 5* clean beautiful place. Its just one of the USA best Natural mineral springs.

Someone Please ! Pick a date, set it out there, and let's all converge on the Crystal Hot Springs where we can all carry the conversations "deep" into the . . . . (night)?

Agreed!!
We go to crystal a few times a year with the kids. It's definitely a family oriented place however we've had our suspicions of several couples there being in the lifestyle but we never had enough privacy from the kids to ask or talk about it. It could definitely be a good place to meet and talk but could become dangerous as the typical flirting and other similar actions begin unless you can keep the excitement to just conversation only. Typically in the evening hours the number of kids around dwindles down leaving more adults to enjoy the hot mineral pools. Their hours Mon-Fri are 12-10pm, Sat until 11, Sun until 8. Starting January first the adult swimming price changes from $6 to $7.
We took our kids to Crystal and like everyone says they cater to families but we haven't been there at night. We also hiked up to Diamond Fork. Expect a lot of kids, scouts and patrols by the DNR on the weekends. We prefer to hike up on Wednesdays, there is less people, less clothing and we have yet to see any patrols.

OK, I'm totally clueless, never having been there. Someone please enlighten me. Would it be possible, perhaps at night or something, to sort of behave in the hot spring like you would in the hot tub at a house psrty? I'd guess probably not, so just how close to that could people get, if there were a bunch of folks, all from the lifestyle, there some night? And, in the event that someone met someone there, and the two of them decided they wanted some privacy, is there anyplace they could go?
Mystic Hot Springs in Monroe (south/east of Richfield about 10 miles)may be more of what you're looking for. It's off the beaten path, owned my "Mystic Mike" a 60's throwback kind of place. In addition to the large hot spring, they have set up small hot springs in old bath tubs. Really quite funky & cool. While they don't officially advertise skinny dipping, they don't discourage it either.
Good question, Tmaca. It looks like there's a campground there or hotels in Brigham City.
We don't think the open behaviors we're used to enjoying in the hot tubs would be acceptable or ok at crystal hot springs. Also there are no private areas to sneak off to either. For the most part you could enjoy a nice meet up and talking but save the drinking and extra fun for an after party of some sort if possible.
Diamond Fork hot pot's are nice but the sulfur smell isn't we hike and camp up there a couple time's a year. It seem's the later the better but who want's to hike down buzzed? Not I! We would like to get a group together for some campin, wheelin, jeepin, hikin, humpin whatever float's our boat. There is plenty of group spot's up towards the Sprinville fork it's a fun place to mess around so maybe we'll see some of ya in the spring/summer:)

Well, I'm sort of a '60s throwback, or maybe it's more like my head got stuck in the '60s and, hopefully, will never leave (spent one weekend in '69 during my 30 day en route to Vietnam leave in a town called White Lake, NY, in the rather wet and muddy fields of a farm owned by a guy named Yasger listening to music at a thing that's nowadays just called Woodstock, and I sometimes think someone gave me some kind of chemical concoction that froze my soul in time). So it sounds like the perfect place. Unfortunately, when I first came to Utah from San Francisco in '99 I lived for a couple years in Circlrville, so I know exactly where Monroe is, and how far it is from Ogden. It used to be about a 4 hour drive from Circleville to SLC, and I'd guess it's be about the same from Ogden to Monroe, or maybe even a little more. Why can't more of the really great places be closer to here? ~ Terry
Baker hot pots, a bit of a drive but u can get naked and not worry
We have been there with a few lifestyle couples! Great time!
We would love to go up sometime. Right now we are super busy, but early next year would be a great time to plan something. We are going to Vegas for V's birthday in March, so sometime after that. We would love to camp overnight, so as it gets warmer as well, as we would be tenting it!
I go to Crystal Hot Springs often. Usually on weekdays.Feels great!
We have wondered if people we saw there were in the lifestyle. Might go up Saturday night.
If the weather remains as nice as it has been lately, We would like to make a trip up there, and maybe meet a few people.
