So we have noticed that Utah has a majority of the swing-ulation (swing population) on the site and we're thinking it's because here in Ut. We are denied such liberties such as good beer, gay marriage, being able to buy booze in the grocery store, legalized pot, a corner or city block that dosen't have a Mormon church on it, or a town without a Temple being planned or built!
So we figure Utah swingers are mostly either church defectors or people who are just plain fed up with our Mormon dictated state so what we do we do to rebel?? OR it's because this site was started here by a Utahn. Go to other swinger sites started in other places and Utahns are definitely a small minority. But yes we do have a healthy little swing scene here especially considering our rather small population and the prevailing social mores here in our little corner of the world. As you surmised, at least partly due to pushback from people who don't necessarily like being told what they can and can't do as consenting adults or who have rebelled after being inculcated in the majority religion.
ps- We have AWESOME beer here. Don't believe the whole 3.2% bs as they measure alcohol content differently here. Beer here is not that much weaker than elsewhere. We have unbelievable microbreweries that make award winning brews and most liquor stores have a very good selection of beer from other areas.
