The hubby and I are looking to take our first all inclusive lifestyle trip. We would love to hear some opinions. Which one is the best and when is the best time to go?
We have only been to Hedo. We are looking to try desire this year, complaints with hedo are; Security was lacking and non guests were wandering the premises late at night, we complained after a incident with a non guest and security company was changed the next day, no issues after that. Did not enjoy Negril, people were to pushy, we like to explore the area and did not feel comfortable off of the resort. Food was limited but what they did offer was good. Two days with out AC, whole resort was down which we understand shit happens so not a big deal. Pluses; the nude beach, staff was very friendly with the exception of a few of the male bartenders, the nude pool was a blast, entertainment was good. Like I said we are looking into desire for our next trip.
We have been to both a number of times. Our advice is to check who is going to be there the weeks you are thinking of going. We always try to go as either part of a take over or to join a takeover sponsored by a group from another area. We have a had a blast with takeover groups from Florida, Texas and California. Our preference after experiencing both resorts would be Desire.
