So I the Mr. Was laid off today. Corporate thought it best to close our slc office and move all our work to Mississippi. Sorrry to say but we all feel they will fail in this venture. I have filed for unemployment and have sent out several resumes already but thought what the hell and throw it out in our awesome community and see if anyone had any ideas. My resume is quite vast and covers many trades I can do almost anything.
If you know of something drop me a line thanks and much love.

I can't even begin to imagine the stress you are feeling. I'm sorry that it happened to you and if I hear of anything I will let you know. Hope you find a job you like even better than the last one.
Sorry to here, I got lucky 15 years ago when I got laid off out of IT and picked back up in the electronics dept.
What is it that you do? send it private if you wish, just may be able to point you somewhere with the right skills.

At my last job, customer service (orders, quotes), warehouse manager, inventory control, purchasing, shipping and receiving, ISO 9001 documents and internal audits andproject management. Lots of hats and I loved it. By trade though im a fitter/welder. Managed fabrication shops and several employees. Can run any fabrication machine. Unless its cnc lol never worked for a shop that could afford something so nice haha. Self taught on a burn table because the owner purchased one and had no clue who to use it. Can do almost anything really though exept plumbing and heating/venting. Just home projects for that kind of work. :-)
Have you looked into SME steel in WJ. Glassey Steel also. Both are great companies that I have used on projects.
Ill check em out. Thanks :-)
Wow thanks for the info. Cheap companies treat their employees cheap from my experience. Peterson is a long drive for me lol. But thank you.
I have worked with glassy and know the Owner some, great bunch of guys and seem to treat thier guys great, dont know thier wage but seems good.
I am a member of the Local union and they are always looking for pipe welders and the fitter test is not to hard, pay is great and the benny are pretty good. Could check them out. We are always short on welders. Good luck.
Ill check that out also. Thanks
Not really. Very fast learner and more mechanically inclined. I have worked on vfds and some circuit boards with some direction. But able to pick anything up and learn it and excel quick. What can I say its a gift :-)
