From a man's standpoint I personally don't think it matter. If a woman likes a particular look and manner than so be it. No one should have to settle on something that is against his or her desire.

I'm going to answer this! Answer: It depends on the guy. Some guys are too pretty to be obscured by facial hair, and others look more manly with a swath of beard. And even fewer still, but some guys look great with a brushed out, waxed up moustache. Positively presidential. A good friend has a very big mountain man beard, kept with minimal grooming. He shaved it off for Movember (look it up) last year, and he looked, uh.....like Ozzy Osbourne circa 2006? And he's 36. His girlfriend cried, and they had a huge fight about how she would break up with him if he ever shaved it off again. I gotta say, I agree with her. This man's jaw does not speak for itself.
So you see, Virginia, some men have beards so that you'll have something to tell them to shave, and when they do, you'll assume they love you THAT much. I know a lot of Salt Lake dudes that employ this tactic. I'm gonna do the same thing with my crotch the next time I get a whiff of this scam.
