Let us know any must do's or must avoids please
Any nighttime fun hangouts or clubs?
Puerta Vallarta is supposed to be great. Our friends Walt and Steve from Atlanta live there. At least it's warm.
We go Twice per year...
Rhythms of the Night - You go to where the Blue Iguana was filmed in the 60's, have a romantic candle dinner in the Jungle and a sweet show - very romantic.
Sierra Madre Tour - You go on old Army Trucks through the country up into the Mountains, learn a ton of stuff about Mexico, end up at a killer beach for lunch, swimming, relaxing.
The 4 wheeler tours are fun too.. the one we went on ended up going through the Jungle for about 90 minutes, crossing rivers, up some hills then ended up at a Tequilla factory... where you took about 30 shots, then tried to get your 4 wheeler back down the mountain 3 sheets to the wind.
ONLY IN MEXICO!!!
Have fun... K and V

I'd "must avoids" drinking the water.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but there supposed to be a resort called Fantasy resort and spa near Nuevo Vallarta which is maybe minutes away maybe less than 30 min. and either it is swinger friendly or focusing on the swinger scene. either way it is very new maybe not more than a year or two. check out info on it. from experience if you stay within the resorts you should be ok but if you go further out make sure you trust your guide or a local they should know what areas to avoid in order to be safe.in daylight you can go out and sightsee but at night you should always stay in town. if you do get to a bind with the law don't argue keep your cool and also don't flaunt your money. we all know bribes will get you out of trouble but wait a couple of minutes after what ever amount they ask for and then offer to give them a bit less, 90% of the time this will work.
Thank you everyone, we leave this frigid storm in 2 hours. Don't be jealous. :-D
