UPDATE, UPDATE!
Sheez, I screwed up when I did this post 'cause there are TWO MORE events than what I posted here, and they are likely to be awesome fun: The SexFall event on the 31st, and a Massageevent on the 4th. Both of these are put on by "Risque Soiree" which roughly translates to "Sexy, creative, kick-ass rocking Time." We've been to two events by RS, one of which got a bit awkward when I ended up having sex, partly in a closet, as a line of people waited to used the bathroom nearby. I suppose that's another story, but hey, I'm telling ya, there's some serious fun to be had at some of these Utah parties! Go Lang!

Bitchin! OK, actually, Bitchin without offering actual solutions!
So yeah, it's really hard to find a hook up when it involves four people -- all the cross connections required make it astronomically harder than just having two people find each other -- and even that is fraught with difficulty. But if you're gonna bitch about your difficulty hooking up with people here, don't ya have to keep at it, keep giving it your best shot?
So, using the facilities available right here on good ol' inexpensive Swingular, I went-a looking. HOLY FREAKING CHIT!! Did you see the list of folks RSVP'ing to the Twas the Night Before Christmas Party on Saturday the 21st? If that doesn't dampen yer panties or stiffen your "resolve" ya oughta rush out and buy yourself a coffin on a pre-Christmas special. Damn, what a sexy group of people! You can bitch and say that sometimes these big parties are "clickish" but the more new people that go, the more chance ya (we) have of meeting compatible partners. We've never had sex with another couple AT one of these parties but we have had sex next to a couple we know, and with each other among other couples. Pretty damn titilatting at the very worst! And who knows?
. It is $30 a person if you're not a member, but really that's pretty cheap for a place with an open bar. Hubby doesn't drink and I can't have more than 3 or I find myself waking up two hours later having had sex with 12 men, 2 chickens, and a leprechaun. We still find it worth the bucks. But if that IS too much? ...
There's a KnK Meet and Greet the Friday following Christmas. Lots of sexies already signed up for that as well. That was actually our first event after joining here! Low-key, costs nothing more than a typical visit to a club. What? Still not convinced that this Swingular site can find you some entertainment? Well then ...
How's about The Funny Fuckers Group Meeting, this Friday (the 20th) at "Bout time Gateway" for some mingling followed by some comedy? I don't know the couple that organized this but I really think that it takes some balls (or some bodacious ta-ta's) to organize something like this -- what if people just like to bitch -- and flake out on actually attending? What if no one else shows? I think there's maybe a dozen or so RSVP'd right now if they all show. Join 'em for Gawd's sake, what have you got to lose? Too many laughs at the very worst?

But the very idea that folks can't find other folks to hang out with (and would rather bitch about it then try), or can't find folks with which to engage in some "penetrating reparte"', just plain waffles my twat ... errr ... or something really bad like that. Anyhow ... quit yer bitching and get yerself and your sexy significant other to one of these events/parties!

Agree totally with PALS, it's the only 2 yr. old tantrum thing, if I hold my breathe and let them know that I am really mad then they'll let me have what I want. Not going to say what we paid to get on this site, but we have met some terrific people from this site, and the parties are great...and my other half is Ms. Karma who would walk up and carry on a conversation with Kim Jung Un (probably wouldn't tell him she watches porn, and likes a drink or two)...but the point is for us it is generally not that hard to make friends.
I have heard that Lifestyle Lounge is something we should try, so I paid for a 2 month pass on the site...sorry I tried for a few days, but it just was not all that.
Anyway, I know that there is the Christmas party this Saturday, but we might have a little shindig on Saturday ourselves.

That's why I joined this site. Last site I checked out was a graveyard. I was a bit shocked when I saw all the parties and people around here in UT.
So I agree with Pals, I think there is lots of things to do.
We got pretty lucky and got contacted by a great couple, and they've been extremely nice about letting us slowly ease in the LS. We have enjoyed time with them, and hope to check out a few of these meet and greets, etc, after the holidays.
Hopefully we can run into some other couples that are as down to Earth as the two we've met with.
My wife and I are still pretty new, but it's been fun so far.

We got pretty lucky and got contacted by a great couple, and they've been extremely nice about letting us slowly ease in the LS. We have enjoyed time with them, and hope to check out a few of these meet and greets, etc, after the holidays.

we've been very lucky over the last three years... met some amazing people... a few creepers... but we've put in the time and effort... attended numerous parties and now my phone is bogged down with a 1000 naughty pics to remind us of all the fun! so yes this site works if you work at it too ;-)
Not sure where people get off saying that this site sux other than maybe a little frustration with the Chat room on occasion. I seem to have alot of fun using the site. It seems that the people that are complaining dont have a picture and their profiles only have one or two lines. Can we put some effort into the profile at least people? I posted a booty call for last weekend for some fun in SLC and I am from Wyoming and I had plenty to choose from and also had a wonderful night. Now I dont always have the same luck everytime I am in SLC but most times have been very enjoyable. It takes some effort especially as a single (unless your that Unicorn) but with minimal effort you can have a lot of fun. But you do have to chat and email and not just send blind friend request to see someones naked pics. I love swingular and for the price (even with the chat problems) theres nothing bad I can say about it. And oh by the way there are some incredibly sexy fun peeps on here.

If you are just here on the forums yes some can seem rude but it is just like text messaging and emails, no emotion, you dont see the facial expressions behind the comment. We are not from Utah although we have met quite a few and in every aspect they sure as hell seemed pretty fun to us. So fun is all in how you look at it. maybe your expectations are not very realistic

I thought we'd already covered this ... yes, some can be ornery and have no problem expressing opinions different from your own -- but remember, MOST folks are pretty darn jovial and fun, no matter WHICH state they're from!
