We are extremely sorry to say it, but we have to cancel the wild in lava event. We received a phone call from the manager of the home hotel and Aura soma lava stating that after a lot of thought they were not comfortable with our group being there for this party, and that they were canceling our reservation. Jason, Kat, Ashley and I have put a lot of time, money and effort into this and we are completely at a loss. To move the venue to another location doesn't look possible and we feel it would be a violation of your trust(giving you something other than what we promised you). We will be writing refund checks today and sending them out. We hope that you will understand the situation we have been placed in and accept our apology.

After talking to a few couples it sounds like most are going to just book a room somewhere in lava and meet up at the bars in town. And I wouldn't mention being with any group when booking. We do still have the wristbands. Still could be a fun weekend.
In the wake of it getting cancelled I know there is a few of us are still thinking about make the trip happen. I feel bad for Jeff, Jason, Ashley and kathy put a lot of effort into the trip and the manager pulling that Shit on them. If anyone else is still thinking about going up let us know and we can plan to still all get together.

Lets just hope that any couples planning on going would not book rooms at the Home or soma. Why compensate them for canceling on us.
There is the school house in Lava. Risque Soriee has rented it for parties and it was a blast. Huge, Lots of bed rooms and a gym, Kitchen. Very private about 4 miles East of Lava.
It is called the School house Inn. and its $375 per night.
No water but sure could make up for it in other ways.

We may still go to. Kinda depends on what other couples are still planing on attending
Lava or not we have that friday thu sunday off. Hope to get together with a group somwhere and have some fun.
Also thank you everyone for all the hard work in trying to make this happen. Would have been great.
We are going with 3 other couples and rented from Aura Soma. If you rent from Aura Soma, you will have access to the same private pool that was originally planned. If you rent from another company, you will not have access to this pool and may just have the public hot pot.
